Yeah, now that I look back at it the plot twist with the son (for me) makes no sense. I will say though I did appreciate that they had a concept art gallery section in the menu section, having behind the scenes stuff like that is always welcoming for me.
@@Grenademan1I think the twist was great, they just failed to stick the landing after the final boss fight. They didn’t capitalize on it well and rushed to a conclusion without explaining anything.
The most I know about this game is that Tumblr post where someone talks about how they went to the skate park too early and got stuck in the empty pool, and the post ends with "the squid starved to death in this pit"
One thing. The music tracks are actually far longer than 30 seconds. They loop certain their melodies frequently but almost every song in the game changes drastically after a few loops.
I actually enjoyed this game. I remember when I was a kid and first found out bad guy was a robot the whooole time, it blew my mind. If it weren't for the story, idk if I'd like the game this much
Been wanting to say this about this channel for some time, you may only have 8k subscribers at the moment but you have just as much potential as any of the channels I follow with 1-5 million subscribers. Keep it up and I will be there to like ALL of your content. Good job. 👏
When I owned this game, I've simply experienced most of the levels through using the Cheats setting in the Options menu (unlocks all levels when you get all the questions right). I was never able to do the jet ski level with the robot fish, so basically, I never knew the twist with the businessman's son until I watched an LP of the game.
I loved this game as a kid. I played the GameCube version many times. I remember getting stuck in the forest level, looking for a water pump of some kind? Nice review.
this is one of the best games ever created. its just fun. cool colors and cool level design. both Skate 3 and this game are on the top of my list for my favorite games of all time 🐐
I only ever played Team Rocket Rescue on the PS1. This game looks like it was a HUGE step up from that. I am in a period of going back to play a lot of older games I played as a kid or that I just missed out on. Think this one will go on the list.
From memory, I believe the first track is The Lakes, the second is Twister Snoops Around, and the third is the bumper cars theme. All from the Beach Bandits OST.
Never played the GBA one. Or maybe briefly. I actually enjoyed the console game. I definitely remembered it being story heavy, and 3D action for a Rocket Power game, but I enjoyed it for that reason honestly. It even has multiplayer. I haven’t played it since as I was a kid, and seeing the gameplay here for the first time is exactly how I remembered. I have to disagree with you on this game. The console version clearly had more to offer, and they were all enjoyable for what they were in my opinion on top of the much stronger variety. I was a pretty big fan of the show, and thought the story was a bit interesting if not ambitions for what it was at the time. I guess I was use to load times in games since that was an era we had to deal with, but I don’t remember it being a nuisance necessarily. I can maybe see where you’re coming from if I was playing it older now. It’s certainly better then the PS1 game, and a decent way to end off the console games.
I never watched the show but i got this game for Christmas when i was a kid and i loved it. The characters are awesome and the movement/tricks feel like a low budget free world ssx. There are so many different sections with unique gameplay mechanics or minigames. It never felt bland to me. Im sure i wouldnt like it much now but its a staple of my childhood.
I understand the game hasn’t aged well or it didn’t do anything particularly well but I remember having lots of fun with it. Plus the music went so damn hard for no particular reason 😂
This game's jankyness is really overshadowed by just how weird the plot gets, I wouldn't expect team rocket to be facing off against Robo-Jaws, HAL, and Terminator Donald Trump after blowing up robot factories hidden in a water park and a freaking volcano. The music is great though, but a weird quirk with it is that you're half right on the 30 second length. Each track is split up in three different segments: one about 1:30, another about 1 minute, and the last about 30 seconds, and the game doesn't loop them right so sometimes you'll get the 30 second variant looping over and over again.
This game NEEDS a sequel... Possible names, Rocket Power 2: Summer Madness Rocket Power 2: Golem strikes back Rocket Power 2: Wave Warriors Rocket Power 2: Intertidal zone Rocket Power 2: Mongo Mayhem
In my opinion this is one of the best Nickelodeon games ever made
this and battle for bikini bottom for sure
I really loved the home console as a game. It was pretty fun. It has one of the WORST endings ever in a video game though.

Tak is Nickelodeon's answer to Fake Crash
Only three weeks before we finally get to Fairly Oddparents. Can't wait to hear what you have to say about Butch Hartman.
I played this game a lot in 2002-2003 and Me and My sister just loved it!

Yeah, that Tak cameo kinda creeped me out as a kid

Haha we have the same childhood I did that exact same thing to
Me and my cousin absolutely loved this game. I played it religiously in 2002-2003 on PS2 when I was in 3rd grade.
Anakin Skywalker won't play this game, because...
SAND!!! it's everywhere
Thank you so much. I finally get to see you review this game.
I miss playing this game as a kid on the GameCube.

I loved this game. My mom got it for me on PS2. I just did the free play mode to play all the levels and skate around the town lol. Such a sweet game.

I loved that this game also had 2 rocket power episodes
That line u did grabbing the silver dollars was 🔥🔥🔥 tho
13:52 What track is that?
Is the track at 16:30 the same as 13:52? If not, then what is it?
And finally, what track is 17:04?

Didn't this game have a hoverboard you could for skateboarding? I vaguely remember one of my friends liked this game just for that.
You win a hoverboard like three-quarters into the game but you really only get to use it in the finale.

Surprised you didn’t mention the tak Easter egg

Tak is Illuminati confirmed?
Tak just popping up used to scare the shit out of me
This game NEEDS a sequel...
Possible names,
Rocket Power 2: Summer Madness
Rocket Power 2: Golem strikes back
Rocket Power 2: Wave Warriors
Rocket Power 2: Intertidal zone
Rocket Power 2: Mongo Mayhem
So Tak is the G-Man basically?
this was like jetset radio to me as a kid
I loved the ps2 game as a kid and had loads of hours into it
14:59 More like on the level of Hey Arnold The Movie & Recess School's Out.
Really looking forward to The Fairly OddParents...
To be honest judging by what I heard this games story line premise seems whole lot darker then anything that I remember seeing on the show.
this game was the best, defiantly needs a remake or a fan remake, like whats being done with hit and run
I'd love for a remake
I had this game as a kid but I could never get past the mask collection segment
I know your pain! I somehow managed to get past it
BEST NICK GAME
Great review...thanks for letting me know not to keep this piece of poop in my collection...🤘🏼💯✔️
This game blew my mind as a kid, but looking back it was pretty meh 😅 There were much better games coming out later in the PS2’s life cycle.
It been a while
Here is a review for the next game:

I like your videos but man you are hating 😂
