Crip walking began back in the 1880's and it originated from the hill tribes of paraguay who would crip walk hoping this would bring some much needed rain for there harvest, some tribesmen would crip walk for days with no food or water to help there harvest. Legend has it that this intense form of walking would make many elder tribesmen crippled for life. Hence the crip walk.
