Can get the tope in chi harbour as im sure ur aware 👊👊. I caught a 35lb one off the sib on Monday 🤩 We set off from itchenor, pretty decent slipway tbf 👊
The Mixon will produce Bass atm but smaller than a month or so back, as I’m sure you’re aware check tides and depths - it’s shallow out there! the birds will tell you if there’s a feeding frenzy going on but don’t steam into them, drift through them, otherwise you’ll piss off the locals 😂 hope to see you down here at some point. 🎣🤞
The bass was chasing it to size it up when you see them stop reeling and just twitch the lure then they will hit it cos it’s like an injured bait fish took me 2 years to work that out but I’ve had some off my best hits like that mate hope it helps good vid keep it up
Hey Rhys love the videos your the reason I got my own sib, IBF one of course. Met Carlo lovely fella also met you aswell at the last sibfest. I will be venturing out on my first trip with my brother, and we can't seem to find where would be good to try as 2 newbies we live in Kent Bomley area and was looking at Essex Southend or nearby areas would you have any suggestions at all. Thanks in advanced mate
Hi Rhys try attaching a teaser fly 3ft above your lure like you say it creates competition the Bass will either take the lure or the fly to stop the lure from catching the fly Find white beast for the fly it looks like a fish chasing a sandeel good luck

100% agree - almost any lure will work like that, an easy meal if it’s injured
Chichester harbour can have some big smoothies an bass every now an then. Guiltheads close in on the beaches inside the harbour. 👌
