What if mindfulness wasn’t just something you practiced in moments of calm, but a way of living that touched every aspect of your life? How would integrating mindfulness into your daily routine-in your relationships, work, and self-care-create lasting, meaningful transformation?"
The stories you share are both inspiring and enlightening. They truly bring the teachings of Buddha to life and help me understand how to apply them in my daily routine
Thank you, I've practiced many of these through the years. My grandmother told me when I was younger to find the good in everything. That stuck with me. Gratitude is an amazing thing. Again thank you so much ✌️
8:45 Such a valuable lesson! Principle 7, 'Everyone is a teacher,' reminds us that each person in life brings their own unique lessons. Whether through successes or failures, every experience helps us learn and grow. Thank you for sharing this perspective-it encourages me to appreciate and stay open to everything around me. 🌱🙏
Fortunately I came upon this video the day after the presidential election and I say fortunately because I need to hear these teachings more than ever. I need to cultivate the practices that are presented in this video because if I don’t I’m going to explode with the direction my country has taken. I did learn that one cannot save the ignorant nor the people that are hell bent on their on demise. All I can do is concentrate on me and my peace of mind.
I'm from the UK and sympathise, we felt similar when Johnson got in. But things are so messed up now that your Democrat vote wouldn't have meant a stable world either.

@@sandyoi5301Alas, the universe is not here to make things any easier. Once set in motion, all chaos created by humans has apparently been out of control. I struggle with this, but the alternative is that any intelligence that created us, is simply evil.
I am here after the election. I was very upset, sad, angry and filled with anxiety unable to sleep… listening to Buddha teachings have already made me calm. Thank you for providing these lessons. Hope everyone can fine peace.
Thank you for sharing such profound thoughts at 16:57! Emotions like shame and fear can indeed make us feel small and unworthy, holding us back from pursuing what truly matters in life. This reminds me of Buddhist philosophy about facing emotions rather than avoiding them. The Buddha taught that through meditation and mindfulness, we can recognize and let go of negative emotions, allowing us to live a more fulfilling life. I hope this insight serves as a gentle reminder for everyone to step out of their comfort zone!
6:15 Choosing how we react to insults-Buddha’s wisdom on love breaking the cycle of negativity is so profound! 💖 Imagine the freedom of not taking hurtful words personally. This perspective is definitely worth practicing!
What this video talks about , plus counseling has helped me greatly when I deal with other people of all kinds :strangers, close family members, friends, co workers, you name it. Yesterday my mom said some toxic things to me while I was visiting, and I stayed quiet. I did send her a message telling her that we need to talk about what makes me angry since I couldn't do it at that moment (my emotions were getting ahead of me). I will talk to her today, lovingly and tell her my grievances, calmly. I usually explode on people and that's not a good thing for anyone, including me. I listen to this channel all the time. Thank you for such great advice and wisdom.
Your video on the 10 powerful Buddhist lessons for mastering yourself is incredibly insightful and offers great wisdom for personal growth. I love how you break down complex teachings into actionable steps for self-improvement. However, I wonder if mastery over oneself is truly achievable, or if it's more of an ongoing process of self-awareness and adaptation. While Buddhism offers valuable tools for personal growth, perhaps the journey of mastering oneself is more about embracing imperfection and learning from experiences. Still, your lessons are thought-provoking and definitely inspire deeper reflection
This video is so enlightening! The 10 Buddhist principles shared here are powerful reminders of inner peace, resilience, and mindfulness. Each principle offers practical wisdom that can truly help us stay grounded, no matter what life throws our way. Thank you for making these teachings so accessible and easy to understand - they’re truly life-changing! 🙏🌿✨
12:58 - The explanation on non-attachment here is so powerful. It really made me reflect on how much freedom comes with letting go. This moment resonates deeply!
The idea of weaponizing gratitude and living according to nature really resonates with me. These teachings are so practical yet profound. I'm excited to apply these Buddhist principles to daily life for a stronger sense of inner peace.
With respect, I have noticed similarity in Much of these principles are what North American indigenous peoples have been living as a way of life such as respect and live in harmony with Mother Earth; much love to all❤❤❤
This video was exactly what I needed today! The idea of becoming 'untouchable' by controlling how we respond to negativity really hit home for me. Definitely going to try pausing and taking a deep breath next time someone tries to upset me
In Tibetan, vipassanā is lhaktong. Lhak means "higher", "superior", "greater"; tong is "view, to see". So together, lhaktong may be rendered into English as "superior seeing", "great vision", or "supreme wisdom". This may be interpreted as a "superior manner of seeing", and also as "seeing that which is the essential nature". Its nature is a lucidity-a clarity of mind.
Thank you for the insightful explanation! It's fascinating how language shapes the understanding of such deep concepts. The term lhaktong truly captures the essence of vipassanā-the clarity and wisdom one gains through meditative practice. It's inspiring to see how this understanding bridges different cultures and traditions. 🙏

What a deeply profound and inspiring video! The way these Buddhist principles are laid out not only speaks to the ancient wisdom of the Buddha but offers practical guidance for anyone struggling to maintain calm in a chaotic world. The example of using patience as a way to handle insults was particularly eye-opening. But here’s a thought-provoking question: Can practicing such extreme levels of emotional detachment lead to a lack of empathy in personal relationships, or does it help us build deeper connections by not letting ego and emotions interfere?
Clear and insightful! This video truly helped me better understand how to stay calm and find peace in life. Thank you for sharing these valuable Buddhist principles. Has anyone here tried applying any of these principles in their life? Share your experiences so we can learn from each other! 🙏
Zen buddhist story- a monk had a high reputation for unshakeable calmness, then one day a bandit stabbed the monk with a sword. Dying he let out the loudest scream the people there had ever heard
The key is 100% love, no negativity or hate that repulses and separates. That means loving everyone even Adolph Hitler, Trump, Biden, Harris, everyone 100%. That is the challenge, 100% true love. Where is this love? Within, in the breath, transcending.
Every person you encounter can teach you something valuable, especially those who challenge or irritate you. Practicing patience and understanding fosters inner peace and wisdom.

You don't need 10 principles for this. You need only 1 -- and it's the ultimate philosophy for life. Read about it in the GITA, practice it and become as placid as a lake. In short, stop obsessing over the result because there are too many variables many not in your control. Focus on doing your best and not on the result (that you never control). You'll enjoy doing your best. Start here and learn the rest in the GITA book.

This is amazing but I wonder, isn't the ebb and flow of strong emotions part of our natural yin and yang? Should we be striving for constant peace or almost numbness? I feel like how can you enjoy the peace if you don't experience stress or tribulation. You can't have the dark without the light
Prevention of suffering is the key. In order to be calm one has to experience the ups and downs in order to know what it means to be calm. It’s about how we respond and to do it with compassion.
