Cod world at war was hands down the scariest/realistic cod ever (besides juggernaut perk) bodies getting blown up in half, you can hear screams in most of the maps. the music was scary, loading up gave you chills.
I hope for the next WW2 game they do, they do it at a dark tone just like that, don't think they will though now a days unfortunately. I loved the dark grittiness tone of it though. Feels like you're actually at war getting PTSD lol. Great COD tbh, plus the zombies was so horrifying, I loved it

Personally BO1 is probably the greatest COD to me. Amazing zombies. Amazing MP especially the party games/ wager matches. The campaign was full of memorable moments like woods and mason playing Russian roulette or Vorkuta. Reznov, Mason, Hudson and Woods will forever be remembered. Rezonov’s speech about the steps classic. All the zombie maps from WAW came back too. I’m geeking over this game. I need to go back and play it tbh Edit: I can vividly hear the gun shots and sounds in my head while remembering this game. Everything from the shots fired to the announcer was perfect. The zombies voice lines and the perk jingles. PACK A PUNCH SOUNDS OHHHHHHH SO FUCKING AMAZING.

The reason that CoD wasn't the same after MW2 was because the level designers who made it great, quit bc Activision decided they didn't want to pay them a bonus that was agreed on beforehand So they quit and made their own company called Respawn Entertainment

Legends balance isn't good. Map design is bad on KC and Olympus. The servers are a joke. 20 hz with a big lag comp window. They always add a short skill ceiling in their games with a ton of cheesy ways for lesser skilled players to stay in the game. Things like bullet tagging, flinch, huge muzzle flash/shield effects highlight this .
I think im a part of the very few people that can actually see the beauty on IW. The campaign was amazing, the zombies id say spaceland was the only perfect map cuz rave was good although the other ones were bad to me, and the multiplayer i really cant make up my mind about it, i enjoyed it a lot with friends but i just cant make anything about it.

Yeah as a multiplayer it doesn’t deserve the hate it gets but the god awful zombies and lack of campaign (other than specialist hq which doesn’t really count) make it hard to stomach if you play cod for the whole game rather than a specific mode. Blackout was solid tho.
Blops2 before the hacking was by far the best multiplayer experience. Plus you had Speedy and the crew, Vanoss and the boys etc putting out great you tubes.

I came in at MW3, so I missed COD4 MW2 and BO1. MW3 changed my life, I got my first Xbox, I was introduced into the world of online gaming, and the internet in general, I made friends and my dad and I would play all the time. So nostalgically it’s my favorite. When it comes to Tim’s lower tier cods, I’m really fond of AW, have tons of fun memories with my friends on MP and zombies. IW I played MP a couple of times, bad, zombies was fun, campaign was phenomenal, I feel bad that story was attached to that game.
For me it’s definitely black ops 2. Hours of playing with my dad. I loved the mp7 so much and hijacked I always played so well on. I really miss the good old days man. They just don’t make these games the same 😔. Rip to BO2 you will always be remembered as the best Cod ever. I will always love you 🥺❤️
Cod Ghost was actually one of the best Cod games I’ve ever played. Idk why so many people didn’t like it. I think UA-camrs influence too many people’s opinions on things because I remember a couple of key UA-camrs saying the game was boring and a lot of people jumped on that ship with them. What followed was multiple years of bad Cod games because of this in my opinion. I hated the futuristic Cod games. Bo1, Bo2, Ghost, mw2, and waw will forever be the best cod games in my opinion. I think the best thing about Advanced Warfare was the campaign with Atlas I finished it all and it was fun but the multiplayer was kinda trash cause of the jet packs

MW2 best fps multiplayer of all time. I still remember the exact spot on the exact map and the exact weapon I used to hit lvl 70 10th prestige. All my buddies yelling and screaming because they were there to witness it. Top 3 games ever for me. I stopped playing COD after BO2, but some of my best gaming memories came from this franchise.
It saddens me the amount of people that overlook/never tried infinite warfare zombies. The maps were so fun and the Easter eggs were challenging yet rewarding. Way different than any other cod but in a good way. I agree that the multiplayer was ass though and ruined the game.

Man Black ops 3 is just my game. I don’t know what it is but I just love that game, the movement and how well each map flows. It has the best zombies game overall as well, along with a solid campaign. It’s just a fantastic game.

The Black ops 2 and modern warfare 2 discussion comes down to age and what point you were at in your life when either of the games came out. I played both on release and played them a lot but I was around 13-14 with modern warfare 2 and by god I had leagues more fun with that game than black ops 2. Modern warfare 2 was in my opinion was leagues more fun than black ops at its peak. It was literally the perfectly crafted call of duty.
If I had to choose one I would rather play longer without getting bored, it’s easily Bo2. It was way more balanced as well. The scorestreaks and the 10 point class setup. I think MW2 has better guns and probably killstreaks as well. But everything was so OP in that game. Danger Close, Commando, One Man Army, Noob Tubes, the shotguns were beyond broken. It’s close and I guess it comes down to personal preference. I’d go Bo2 and I liked both.

OG Modern Warfare to Black Ops 2 were the golden years of COD
I came in at MW3, so I missed COD4 MW2 and BO1. MW3 changed my life, I got my first Xbox, I was introduced into the world of online gaming, and the internet in general, I made friends and my dad and I would play all the time. So nostalgically it’s my favorite.
When it comes to Tim’s lower tier cods, I’m really fond of AW, have tons of fun memories with my friends on MP and zombies. IW I played MP a couple of times, bad, zombies was fun, campaign was phenomenal, I feel bad that story was attached to that game.
Bo1 has got to be S+, that game was incredible

Cod Ghost was actually one of the best Cod games I’ve ever played. Idk why so many people didn’t like it. I think UA-camrs influence too many people’s opinions on things because I remember a couple of key UA-camrs saying the game was boring and a lot of people jumped on that ship with them. What followed was multiple years of bad Cod games because of this in my opinion. I hated the futuristic Cod games. Bo1, Bo2, Ghost, mw2, and waw will forever be the best cod games in my opinion. Unfortunately those days will forever be behind us because too many people jump aboard the hype of Battle Royal.

MW3 is an easy S for me. It’s totally about when you grew up tbh. I was a little too young when mw2 came out so mw3 was the first real one I played and it was insanely fun. Also the sniping in that game is basically unmatched. The only 2 other cods that come close on the sniping are mw2 and bo2

MW2019 was amazing even before Warzone. It revived the franchise. COD was a joke for years at how played out and boring it got. But MW brought the fun back. I didn't do campaign, but multi-player was the most fun I've had in a COD since MW2. Add Warzone into the mix and it's easily S tier

MW2 best fps multiplayer of all time. I still remember the exact spot on the exact map and the exact weapon I used to hit lvl 70 10th prestige. All my buddies yelling and screaming because they were there to witness it. Top 3 games ever for me. I stopped playing COD after BO2, but some of my best gaming memories came from this franchise.
It saddens me the amount of people that overlook/never tried infinite warfare zombies. The maps were so fun and the Easter eggs were challenging yet rewarding. Way different than any other cod but in a good way. I agree that the multiplayer was ass though and ruined the game.

MW2 was the first game I even played online and it changed my life forever. Not only was the single player campaign excellent but the multiplayer was so much fun..broken, but extremely fun and I’ve never really looked back. My fav CoD is definitely Black Ops 2. I like your list and I enjoy seeing other people’s opinions on what they think is the best CoD.

The disrespect to bo3, Taunting top 3 after a win. Characters with personalities. Beautiful maps and plenty of great guns with amazing graphics. Very fast paced with hardly any camping. Best zombies, It should be S or S+.

Man Black ops 3 is just my game. I don’t know what it is but I just love that game, the movement and how well each map flows. It has the best zombies game overall as well, along with a solid campaign. It’s just a fantastic game.

World war 2 needs to be at least S tier! I could play that game all day
The Black ops 2 and modern warfare 2 discussion comes down to age and what point you were at in your life when either of the games came out. I played both on release and played them a lot but I was around 13-14 with modern warfare 2 and by god I had leagues more fun with that game than black ops 2. Modern warfare 2 was in my opinion was leagues more fun than black ops at its peak. It was literally the perfectly crafted call of duty.
If I had to choose one I would rather play longer without getting bored, it’s easily Bo2. It was way more balanced as well. The scorestreaks and the 10 point class setup. I think MW2 has better guns and probably killstreaks as well. But everything was so OP in that game. Danger Close, Commando, One Man Army, Noob Tubes, the shotguns were beyond broken. It’s close and I guess it comes down to personal preference. I’d go Bo2 and I liked both.
