@@triciajohansen3027 I don't care about Eric who is a fictional character. But do you always find it pathetic if older people are in relationships with younger people?
All of the Forrester men have an old reliable when things don't work out with whoever. Eric had Stephanie, Ridge had Brooke, and Taylor, Thorne had Macy, Rick had Amber. If Marcus would have been on longer I'm sure that Dayzee would have been his old reliable. And if they wouldn't have changed Thomas so much he probably would have had one too.
The only reason why Eric and Donna split in the end was because of crazy Pammie. EXACTLY…..Stephanie was one of the most pathetically written women in the history of the show. Eric didn’t truly want Stephanie pretty much from the very first episode. He just stayed out of loyalty of what they built together off “HIS TALENT”. Many love to say it was Stephanie’s Dad’s money that started the business, but without Eric, there was no Forrester. Eric over the years just got TIRED of being guilted and manipulated to stay with Stephanie, or convinced to go back to her for the 4th or 5th time, after finally being free from her control and belittling. I’m convinced a lot of his behavior in the latter years was just him acting out from being tired of never being fulfilled, when every single time he tried to be honest with her, it was nothing but tears and begging, and attitude from grown old kids, old enough to fully know the challenges of relationships…..plus in these latter years it wasn’t even believable that a man with the passion and romantic nature that Eric always had, would still desire the horrible manipulating bully that Stephanie became. At times I swear she seemed more like his Mother!! 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
