Dude, you've mentioned in arena fighting the archer that you are not gonna be able to avoid any of his skills... far easier way is to run around for few seconds, let AI burn all his cooldowns and then rush in .... you'l avoid everything (extremely easy to do so) and take the safe win...
In comparison vs mages, running around immediately as soon as the round starts vs archers, AVOIDANCE IS NOT ABSOLUTE, UNLESS YOUR CHARACTER HAS CONSIDERABLE MOVE SPEED. Remember what I do to mages? I move back, then north immediately. Vs an archer, if your toon is not fast, there is a high chance that you’ll get hit with a disabling skill at the 9-10 o’clock position while applying the same strat. Since I’m melee and got disabled far away from a ranged attacker, I just handed him an advantage. That is the crucial skill that I can rarely avoid, the archer’s opening disabler. That’s why I just take ‘em head on. If the disabler gets me, I’m not far away, can recover quickly and answer with a disabler too.
great! excellent work
