The success of the battery depends on the quality of the insulation!!

Sand Itself is capable of storing the Heat but there could be N number of insulation available

As suggested by the title, you didn't show any DIY instructions.
Also I have two questions, please answer them if you found it during your research, otherwise I'll google it.
1. When did Russia stop supplying gas to Finland(month and year)?
2. By when Finland has developed and tested the first sand battery?
I am trying to find out that how long did it take for them to develop and commercially use it.
Such fast innovation is very rarely seen in India.

Russia Stopped their Gas Supply From 21 May 2022
First Sand Battery was Built in Finland's Kankaanpää town in June 2022
And As per the DIY we given the basic IDEA about the heating of sand using resistive Heaters and Air and then drawing it back using cold air and this basic idea could easily be applied using basic Infra
