I was in Freetown, sierra leone at the Siaka Stevens stadium when he performed this show. I sure believe that this was the first night of three nights. Less crowd because people where scared of a rebel war in the city. Nothing happened that first night but guess what the next night--- that stadium was jam-packed. He is highly LOVE till this day in Freetown. People know his songs word for word. RIP joe hills as we call him.

Just home from long holiday in Salone. Respect for helping bring peace to what is now one of the safest countries in Africa. Sierra Leone is the most beautiful and welcoming country I have ever visited. Wish Western media would tell the truth, not keep telling lies. Sierra Leone is SAFE to visit, whatever your skin colour

At the end it sounds like two sevens clash but the melody was one of another song. Being a french speaking, I was 14 at that time, back in Africa and I do not recall any words.

Could any of you guys tell me the title of this song, especially the guitar melody. It is the first reggae song I heard and from then (1978-79) till now, I reggae is my favorite music. Thanks.
