I urge you to research natural Polar Bear behaviour and migration patterns with sea ice and seasonal change. These guys are the Apex predator who don’t fear humans. They are a remarkable species. Look at some National Geographic docs and even some BBC docs on them.

But a lot more zoos are doing the heavy lifting of saving critically endangered species, raising awareness for conservation and even ensuring genetic integrity in certain species. Animals are getting far better enrichment, too. In a perfect world, none of it would be necessary. Peace.

i dont agree in wild animals being captive but seeing this makes me happy. This is better than them being shot by some lowlife scumbag hunters. They look like they're having fun and being fed well. Nothing beautiful than seeing momma bear and cubs playing and goofing around. I love it!
this was fun to watch, sure they should be in the wild but im sure they are being taken care of very well here and im sure theres a reason for them to be in captivity, it could be that they were just born into captivity but i still hope these bears live a good happy life here :)

It is ok that an animal be predated in wild but not in captivity; I don’t understand why Asians don’t get this basic thing; fish suffering and pain is made by zoo people and spectators and not by bears. The role of a zoo is to display animals and not to make them suffering neither satisfy a crazy crowd sadism; and if you tell me those bears needs to practice it for their well-being then they shouldn’t be in captivity.

If they feed jst once a day, only few dozens ppl get to see feeding time. Cant you tell thats not the only food they get? look at the bears, they are not skinny. Its much skinnier in the wild.

imagine the same scenario but instead of fishes they put a human, then open the animal gate. This has been done before in the roman coliseum. A crowd of people watching the release of the wild animal, their cheering as it catches the victims and even a trap door where the wild beast come in and out. Here were are two thousands years later and the same show is staged but not as good.
