    Owned fully loaded x trail e power for 6 months, get between 40 to 45 mpg. I believe that most people just don't understand the new e power system. How many cars can comfortably haul around 7 people and even some luggage with a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder motor? It makes 525 Nm of torque, that's 10 more than a 5 litre v8 Ford Mustang. It handles so well for what it is and is the most comfortable car I've ever driven, top speed is about 110 mph, but it's plenty for this type of vehicle and 0 to 60 in about 7 seconds. Yes it's expensive for a Nissan but at the top of the range it really is a lot of car for that money, but I don't think there's anything else in the price range for this type of car to match it, after the first couple of months I knew I'd make the right choice, I love mine.

      Hello! Gerry. Thank you very much for your evaluation. I really do appreciate that.
      I'm torn between buying a brand new Toyota Rav 4, Hyundai Tucson or this X- Trail.
      I will be changing it in 3 years time.
      A question, will this small battery last?

    • @gerrybailey447
      @gerrybailey447 7 місяців тому

      @@michealkelliher8428 Battery has an 8 year warranty and because it's so small I don't think it's that expensive to replace anyway. For the price of the top of the range model there is plenty of choice, but I couldn't be bothered with, do I want this, do I need that. If you don't want all the extras that come with the fully loaded x trail, you should consider the other models as it will save you a lot of money, plus if you are only keeping it for 3 years and have gotten used to having all the tech and stuff on offer it's going to be a pain to going back to doing without it and the equivalent tech in another premium brand will be even more expensive.

      Great assessment, had mine for two months, never wanted to go full electric and this fits the bill perfectly, for those saying its not very fuel efficient, the car weighs over two tonnes unladen and I am more than impressed with the fuel efficiency, best car I have ever had, add in the fact it is built in Japan. Well done Nissan.

      @@michealkelliher8428the batteries don’t work like the normal electric ones. I drive the qashqai n-power and the best way I can describe it is this.. the unleaded petrol powers the engine which powers the battery which in turn is what makes you go.
      I’ve recently had to order the X-Trail 7 seater and after driving the Qashqai it was a no brainer for me to go for this.
      Hope that helps you, I was confused with it all at first but absolutely love the drive in these.

    Doors. Prob is in strong gale gusty winds, if not held it will slam fully wide open & could damage & buckle at hinge areas, as doors that open ¾ way, that holds itself much stronger to resist any possible buckling. Just rmbr to keep a hold of doors in aforementioned.
