no, he's mistaken. I use the sports tracking. You set up your goals on the app but you choose your workout on the phone under Training. You have to go into the Training menu and select (Martial Arts; Running etc) and then it times you until you tell it you're done with that mode. Then it uploads to your Sports tracking on the phone. When I got to that comment in this vid, I turned it off since he obviously doesn't know enough about the watch and app.

Is your phone set to allow Notifications from the watch? You can turn that off since there's no reason for notifications to your phone in order to use the watch and app.

How do I turn on the sleep tracking?
Usually in the app
once you've given the App full permissions, it will automatically track your sleep as long as the watch is fitting well against your skin.

Yeah true and it's not adjustable. Not my favorite app. Now I'm back to Wear OS (3.5) on my Ticwatch and love it. Worth the price.
you have to set the Heart Rate to update frequently. If you set it to update only every hour, the entire watch only syncs every hour.
How do I set up Voice Assistant? I can't find the Instructions anywhere yet, it listens but no response
Voice assistant depends on lots of factors like the model of the watch and the phone. There can be many potential problems unfortunately

Yeah I wouldn't really rely on such apps or watches. Probably even the Apple watch would be way off

Yes there are, but can't remember. Havne't used such watches in a while. There are a few which support notifications from all the apps individually.
