She needs to quit. She has not heart. I say this because I'm disappointed thinking that she actually had potential but at this top level she is not built for this. Besides she is too old now.
She should just stay physically active by training in the gym but not fighting anymore because this was almost difficult to watch at how easily she gave up.

Cornejo needs to hang them up now. She doesn't have the heart and she doesn't have the physical strength to fight at an elite championship level.
Both fighters were not good but one was determined to win the fight while the other gave up almost immediately in the first few rounds into the fight.
She had zero to no defense and she had little to no bounce in her step.

That is the stupidest thing I've heard from a boxer and obviously Cornejo is not fit for this by saying something like that of it's true. She's just a female that was looking for a hobby where she could get into fights but obviously not at a disciplined level.
It's disappointing because just a year or two ago when I first found out about her I really thought she had potential but seeing this I know now that she doesn't and she is too old to be fighting and on top of that losing in one of the worst ways possible and that's not listening to your trainer.

That was easy work. So this? Is who Shields is fighting? Conejo the lady rabbit? Shields is going backwards here then after fighting who i think is still the number 1 girl in Savannah. And Savannah is fighting Cruz.
Savannah is stepping forward. Clarissa backwards cause rabbit girl is not really a challenge. See, I'm not going to be surprised at all if Shields not only wins but gets her first stoppage. She moves around like a rabbit 🐰 conejo and she tries to win by trying to land 1 jab and then try to land 1 cross.
The girl has no real power. She can't really box or fight. She just keeps moving trying to come in with 1 weak jab. That is easy and won't be a challenge or should not be any true challenge for Shields.
But Shields might not even stop her either throwing all her wild hook punches. I thought Shields was fighting Gabriel's. Savannah is going to teach Cruz a power boxing lesson and if she comes on a higher level after her fight with Shields she could even stop Cruz and make a real bold and solid statement that she is number 1 despite the judges giving Shields the win when they fought.
This fight being scored 95-95 by even 1 judge was a joke. But a draw being scored between Shields and Marshall would've been good and more fair in my opinion. Because Shields to me did not really beat that girl.
See, now that girl is a real true boxer and a power boxer. She has no fear and the girl really knows how to box and if you get outboxed by her it'll break you down and could stop you because she has natural power behind her jab and every punch she throws.
I don't care that the judges gave Shields the win, Savannah is still number one for me. In my book Savannah won that fight 6-4. Shields through a lot of more punches but Marshall made her miss a ton of them.
She either made them miss or she blocked them and she countered Shields and scored on her a lot more than she was given credit for. No man that girl, no body js beating her.
Now Shields getting the victory over that girl was surprising for me, i mean, i couldn't and didn't want to believe she actually got the victory. It looked like she did a whole lot more but watch the fight closely if you have keen eyes. Watch Savannah closely.
She blocked a ton of punches together with making them miss and she was the one taking the fight to Shields, eating everything Shields was bringing, kept coming forward staying all over Shields and she was landing a lot of good counters.
Savannah hurt Shields in that fight and she was taking Shields into deeper and deeper waters as that fight continued especially as the championship rounds were coming and in those rounds Shields won none of them. Shields didn't really win any rounds beyond the 4th.
I guess the judges couldn't see how Savannah was cutting through almost everything that Shields through and how she was blocking most of the punches. She had Shields drowning and in need of being saved by the shorter 2 minute rounds and the bell.
She was in deep trouble because that girl Savannah was only gaining steam. Shields was real close to getting stopped for the first time. She never hurt Savannah nor had her in any real trouble. I'm looking forward to Savannah vs Cruz the 17th.
I'm not however looking forward to Shields vs Cornejo although if I can i will still watch it just to see if Shields improved at all. I think the lady rabbit is going to be just the same. I also think Shields has hit her ceiling with what she can do in the ring. Savannah still has her ceiling above her. I don't really see any girl beating Shields or Marshall besides Marshall beating Shields if they fight in the rematch. Savannah now knows exactly what Shields brings to the ring.
I think Savannah is going to show what she can really do to Shields with the way she will fight and beat Cruz.
Savannah if I'm right, will land her jab, cross, left and right hooks, uppercuts to the head and body, and hooks to the body on Cruz, all behind her jab and boxing skills.
All you really have to watch out for with Cruz is that right haymaker of hers that she throws as a lead alot. I think I already know that Savannah will take Cruz into really deep waters and will drown her in those waters.
She will make Cruz fight hard and get really tired as she breaks down her head and body, and she will be taking complete control of that fight and take over and win. By decision or stoppage.
I think Cruz will run into boxing skills and power she hasn't felt before and it'll change her in the ring and then she will belong to Savannah. Cruz will keep trying because she is a warrior but she will be drowning when she sees herself missing punches, not landing them, not being effective, wasting her energy and getting countered with natural power all while continuing to get her head shaken up by those thudding jabs of Savannah.
If I know Savannah well, this is exactly how it's going to be and Savannah will be waiting for the rematch. I hope that if it takes for her to come to the US, that she does it and comes beat Shields convincingly in her own yard like i know she can do.
I didn't think it was Cornejo who Shields was fighting. No way. That definitely doesn't help prepare her for a rematch with Savannah. I see Savannah coming. I like her a lot. She will make Cruzs power ineffective and will use it against her to make her tired and break her down.
