I think you’re to be commended for that. It has all the required features - an ‘oddity’ loco prototype, some home building, made from fairly cheap materials, an element of experimentation... everything there to give it a like, and to applaud your effort. Thank you for sharing.
I’m just starting out on my first build - and who knows if it will ever be finished? Ellie the steam tram has all the same features for me, but I have no railway to run it on... if I ever build one it will be off the ground, so I can reach it without too much bending! I look forward to seeing more of your efforts. Les

Thank you Les for the kind comments. Really appreciated. Steam tram sounds very interesting. Will it be fully live steam or battery? I am tempted to built a battery one myself as they are fairly attractive locos. I visited a railway in the Netherlands that pretty much exclusively uses steam tram locos on their service trains. Very inspiring. All the best and thanks for keeping up with the channel, it’s really appreciated.

@@joshw6226 Josh, live steam, a beginner’s loco from a book sold by Camden Miniature Steam Services (look them up, they are a wonderful resource). This railway thing is addictive, isn’t it? I love the little Welsh railways, so the steam tram is right up my alley. I’ve been waiting over 50 years for this! Les

Sounds good Les. I wish you all the best with that. Keep us updated with how you are getting on. I shall check the Camden book out, sounds right up my street. Cheers, Josh.

Josh, I live in the Netherlands. What railway did you visit?

I love this. I don't have a garden railway of my own but I am able to use a club system where I run my live steam loco. Is there any chance of an update soon?
    Ps just subscribed
    Best wishes, Robert

I never thought I would ever scratch build anything. But have done a couple locomotives and a few cars. And actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
I have hand laid some track and switches too. That was a bit of a challenge.
I've enjoyed your several videos alot. Great little railway. And the fact that you have built up the motive power and rolling stock has made it particularly interesting.

Thank you very much. Really nice comment. I find it really enjoyable, particularly during the lockdown. I use any old materials I can find and it’s kept the cost right down too!

Yes that is a big problem I have, especially for the Locotracteur with it’s deep side skirts. May need to use a vacuum cleaner lol

How do you power this engine ? I'd love to do something similar.

Any plans of extending the railway?

I would love to but the garden is only limited in size and I’ve tried to stick just to one side. Also we live in a new build house and may not stay here more than a few years so I’ve been hesitant to dig up too much. I would certainly like to extend it however..
