Had mine over 2 years now, bought new from my AD. Had a warranty service 3 months after purchase (chrono pushed stopped working). Since then, solid watch. I semi-daily mine. Great piece.
Got the Panda last week, I'm over the moon w/ this piece .. Really feels the business when you engage that robust crown This is like a classic hot rod of watches, love it
Honestly, one of the best "showcase" kind of videos out there. I know it isn't the smartest move, but I just ordered one used without ever trying it on, 7" wrist, hope it works for me.
My wrist is 6.5 & I got the Panda last week. Very happy w/ it,it has a B01 Breitling movement I saw on a 20k$ watch. I feel like I got 95% of a Daytona but only a fraction of the price..
I have the reverse Panda and it is not for a medium to smaller wrist in my opinion. I have a large 7 3/4” wrist. I recommend it very much if you can handle the weight and size. It’s as solid a watch you can buy with an incredible movement at a great price!
Panda owner - my favorite casual watch, hands down. But for the lack of bracelet adjustability, I think it’s damn near perfect. Some complain about legibility, but I’ve never found that to be a problem.
The reverse is way more legible. I had a white one and struggled reading it in lowish light because the hands disappeared against the white dial. This black one fixes that issue, wonderfully 🎉
Its true, but I have mine as much for look as anything. What I do is put my Panda on first thing, then after my afternoon shower change up for evening. My Citizen Ecos positively glow at night a little better.
I also don't get why Tudor doesn't apply black surrounds for the hands and hour markers like Rolex does for the Explorer II, the Polar Explorer II is a super legible watch.
I love snowflake hands but I did find on this model it obscures the subdials too much. Love the actuation of the chrono pushers though. Very similar feel to a Daytona. Great value as you mentioned.
Completely valid point and that put me off at first but think about how many times you even actuate the chronograph between 2 and 4 o' clock. Other than that it's fine.
This year I was lucky enough to spend a few months with each. Had 3 months with the reverse and 6 months with the Panda. In the end I traded the Panda in for the BB Pro for the increased comfort and GMT. In hindsight, while the Panda is no doubt more eye catching, the Reverse is the more stunning one when seen up close due to its super sharp dial.
Got this watch in Dublin Ireland ,4 weeks ago, had to add 2 extra links as my wrists are over 9 inches wide or metric over 23cm ,this was done for free ,it is so beautiful watch ,but a little small on my wrist.
Had one of these for a while. Felt really special and loved having it, but too often I found myself picking smaller lighter watches (I have bitch wrists). Fantastic watch no doubt about it
I wore mine a week straight when I first got it,then I changed up to a thin Movado that weighs almost nothing & gotta say it is a formidable piece but I'm only 165lbs & really doesn't bother me.
Honestly, this is a watch that I've owned in the past and I enjoyed it but I really wish they could make it 12 mm thick, 40 mm in overall size and give it a t-fit bracelet. Tudor knows the ingredients to make a successful watch, they just have to put it together. As it is, the reason why I traded this watch: it's chunkier than I'd like, the bracelet meh and the proportions need to be refined a little 💯
You can not buy any Breitling B01 movement watch new from a dealer for anywhere near $7,500, let alone $5,000. Maybe a 1-2 year old worn watch. I have been noticing that Breitling chronographs, in particular seem to be holding there value better than their three hand watches.
S&G is a bit too flashy for my liking....reverse Panda is just the right under the radar, value for money luxury chrono that I was looking for.....but in the end it would be better to try both on your wrist and see what matches your tastes
I really like this watch, and would love to have it in my collection. Relative to the market, it's a great value, and also looks really nice. That said, since you specifically mentioned it in the title of the video...based on the dimensions I find it hard to believe it wears anywhere near as well as a Speedmaster, so for daily wear...I'll take the Speedy.
Bruce, unfortunately you may have been misinformed. The rivets are an integral part of the links. They really shouldn’t be called faux as they serve a technical purpose in maintaining the integrity of the links. If removed, the links will come loose. You may not like the look, but they do serve a purpose beyond aesthetics.
No they are an integral part of the links. They really shouldn’t be called faux as they serve a technical purpose bin holding the links together. Didn’t care for them, but now feel it sets the bracelet apart from the more common oyster style. They don’t bother me anymore.
Watch enthusiasts are so anal. They're fine get over it ...now if you were whining about the lack of adjustment in the anachronistic clasp, I'd have some sympathy.
Beautiful watch, BUT anytime I see anything fake on the watch it leads me to believe I’m wearing a Chinese made fake. Considering that is a Swiss watch, would it really hurt them that much to use real rivets on the band and use decent clasp ? What is it with this Swiss companies making great watches and garbage bands?
Dude: This is the reason I've limited watching your show. First the Panda (I loved the look but knew I could never read the time) and now you are all over this reverse model. What? You sold your Panda didn't you? I wouldn't blame you. I think I'm done with wide bodied Tudor's. Bring it under 14mm Or leave me alone!
sorry just watched a bit more and...."this watch does not wear tall"?????????? I haven't watched many of your vids but you just lost literally every modicum of credibility with one sentence lol. it is the tallest-wearing watch I've ever seen in person and I've seen nearly everything. it wears taller than 17mm watches that do actual work to hide the thickness like breaking up the midcase and trickery with the caseback. jfc
I hear you. It’s not a small or “thin” watch for sure, but when you compare it to 17mm watches I think you are way off. On my 7 3/4 wrist it fits like it was made for me. I have a 42mm/15mm diver and it’s both taller in fact and and in appearance. I agree with you that if you are under 200 lbs and have wrists under 7.5” it’s not the best fit for most.
Oh.. do you not like yours or are you just saying it’s too thick? Because I own this, the BBPro and the BBGMT. None of them are too thick, regardless of what non-owners might say. I REALLY thought the Pro was going to be too thick because of the diameter.. but once I actually tried it on, I was quickly disabused of that notion. Give it a try. If you have the wrist for a 41mm in general you will find that it is NOT too thick. It’s proportional.
@@Jdinazloved the design of the bbpro when I owned it, but got rid of it because it’s too thick.. would love to own this reverse panda too which I tried on.. but same story.. and same with most Tudors, but they need to differentiate themselves from Rolex some way with the price difference .. otherwise they’re excellent. You may not like the aesthetics of the rivets, but they are not fake. This is a misconception. The rivets are an integral part of the links. I just bought this watch 2 months ago. Was going to get the panda but found the reverse panda much more legible. Nice review!
Thank you. Nice pickup!
My only gripe I have for my Panda, idc its just so pretty!!

Great review Bruce!
The watch feels great. The bracelet seems extremely light and subpar. But the clasp feels like a million dollars.
Hey, Bruce! Wait until you see Oris's new, 40mm D65 Chrono. It just might become your new favorite!
That one is gorgeous!

I wear one often. Great watch, wears really good on an MN strap.
Could you get a carrera glass box in for review, would love to hear your thoughts.
Woow this is an amazing timepiece I love it!
I own this watch and love it!
Prices nowadays are pretty good for this watch. Lot of companies that offer great discounts
I would say the 40mm Omega speedmaster racing is a great daily wearer and it is more useful with a 12 hour timer vs just a 45 min timer.
Speedy 57 is really nice too
Would love a updated S&G version with the Tfit clasp, but built how S&G is actually supposed to signify “SILVER and GOLD” not Steel
Great review and if I had not already bought one this would have helped make a decision.

Why is it so hard to turn the crown and wind?
Looks nice on your wrist! The height always pushed me away but it really does seem to wear less thick than the spec
I can confirm this. My wrist is 6.75" and it "should" look too tall, but it's fine. Although I wouldn't recommend it for much smaller of a wrist.

@@BruceWilliamsexactly what I was going to say. Not going to find too many 12mm automatic chronographs for $5K

Essentially the same just not as 'warm' feeling in person

@Brian1f1 yes, it's amazing! Big fan
Could you do a video on it? There is almost nothing about it on UA-cam @@BruceWilliams
the reverse pandas are always better/more premium looking imo. but the pandas just have that pop and uniqueness thats draws eyes to it
Also give the Breitling Chronomat a comparison. Superior finishing, comfort, and movement decoration.
Doesn’t look as good thought
It should be all of those considering it costs almost $4K more

I've daily worn both, no issues with either. Though I found myself enjoying the Tudor fit more than the Omega
It replaced my 20 yo 16710 as my dumb reach. Got it with the bund strap for fun and added an Uncle Strap.
