There's nothing more special and beautiful when you tell your first born that they're going to be a big brother or sister when I told my oldest son he was going to be a big brother he was almost 4yrs old he jumped up and down for joy I allowed him to paint my belly, when he jiggled my belly and saw his brother moving around he'd say "let's play" I allowed him to drive his toy cars all over my belly like it was a hill or road. Then came the magical day his brother was born and when he FINALLY got to meet his little brother he said "hurry up and grow big so we can play together" the novelty of being a big brother wore off a month later and he says to me "ok mommy I'm done playing with him you can put him back now" he's the reality check I gave to him "yeah see here's the thing: mommy's mine shaft is now closed for repairs, the storks won't take new babies home with them, Walmart doesn't have a baby refund department, don't do what auntie Erin did when grandma had uncle boo ( I was almost 16yrs old and my sister was almost 15: she was beyond jealous and she tried selling our baby brother and when that failed she tried giving him away). But here's mommy's promise to you the next baby I have will be a sister for you 2" true to my prediction I gave birth to a beautiful little girl 15mths later after my second son. Like all times it flys by fast my oldest son is now 22 my second son is turning 18 on Canada Day and there baby sister is almost 17. And it's true what they say there really is a huge difference between raising boys and girls. My boys became the founders of the "FOOD AND OBJECTS BANNED FROM THE HOUSE" there baby sister was my independent little princess (what more needs to said)
I bet in the old days before this movie made. There’s been announcements from the episode of Rugrats: The Family Tree from season five. Didi is pregnant again
Most likely because it just sounded like babble to them. Most babies cry, babble and coo from birth up to 12 months, and begin learn to speak between 12-18 months. Tommy is barely a year old during the first few seasons of Rugrats.
Yes, Dil is a nickname for Dylan. Coincidentally, his name is a pun for a pickle. 🥒 Dill is a type of pickle. This pun is actually what convinced Stu and Didi to name him "Dylan".
That’s one thing I will give the reboot, at least they handled Dil’s introduction much better there because A. They didn’t know whether or not they were having a girl or a boy, so the didn’t have the disappointment of not being able to name Dil after Stew’s mother. B. Tommy meet Dil was far more wholesome, and didn’t end with them crying.
I like looking at this moment and then looking at that episode of All Grown Up(when they're tweens) and Tommy has had enough of Dill and later goes on to show Tommy's life as a director in success and Dill not, eventually they made up.
“Well, that’s a start.”

Betty was so funny. I loved her sense of humor.
This reminds me of how I acted when my little brother and I met our baby brother for the very first time
The way Dylan pulled Tommy’s nose 😂how can a new born do that? But the way Tommy said baby! That was so sweet 🥲☺️
and that's how tommy got a little brother.
I love that Susie’s mom delivered Dil
Women are great doctors
Tommy literally told the nurse "keep the change"
She’s the doctor.
That’s Suzy’s mom
@@sgtjohnson my bad. Been a while since I saw the movie, or even Rugrats for that matter 💀

I’m glad Dil saw the errors of his ways.
And all it took was Tommy nearly offing his ass 😂
Thank God for that. I can already see a Stu vs Drew 2.0 if Dil didn't.
It was like that for my nephews, their one year apart, the oldest didn’t like him and now 7 years later their the best of friends😂❤️
The start: Dill Pickles was born
Haha I love watching stuff like this as an adult the little things you don't pick up as a kid. The age difference looks no more than 12-18 months.
Tommy was born premature, so could be even less.
Irish twins
So beautiful!
Love this scene💙🩵. Dill is so sweet.
Dill: I got your nose...
Tommy: 😭
Dill: 😭

Cute baby.
I forgot he grabbed tommys nose 😂
Course it has been many years since I have seen this show and the movies
1:04 not for me.
Dill grab his nose said wat bish
0:58 i’m surprised none of the adults reacted to his “first word”
They probably heard babbling from Tommy. Him saying "baby" could've been for our benefit.
BWF
This scene is so cute 😍💖
Wait how didn’t Stu and Dede not freak out when Tommy said baby

Oh yeah, good point, I guess they really didn’t think much of it, maybe it was just 1 of his first times attempting to speak
Wait so dill pickles first name is Dylan

Awwwwwwwwwwwww so cute.

Dill broke his nose
Billy
Bruh they thought it was a girl but it was actually a boy
I think that it was because of Dr. Lipschitz claiming that signs pointed to Didi being pregnant with a girl.
