I’m honestly super glad that they introduce new mechanics instead of going with crystal jams upgrade that some players suggesting. The problem with crystal jam is the way that it is truly hard to keep up with the sugar crystals which overlapped with magic candy. I’m super excited with the beascuits update, kind of disappointed that they don’t doing a pity system or increase success attunement everytime you failed but with it still less problem when the chance of getting legendary beascuits are increased. The login rewards are super super good too I’m a bit confused tho since there are 2 differents way to promote Dark Cacao. What would be changing when promoting the normal way instead of the new way?
The new way to promote Dark Cacao changes his appearance to the Awakened form and gives him a new skill. It also powers him up. The old method of promotion simply raises his stats like normal.
Totally on board with this. They will never give us 100% what we want (heck, half of the player base wants different things so, good luck making everyone happy), however, they listened. They adjusted course. And, I believe, they came up with a solid resolution for this. My hope is that they keep this in mind as they move forward with the game. It is a Gacha game. Whales will always have an advantage and get things first. All I ask is that the Gacha game gives me as a minnow or FTP a way to get it that is reasonable and available. They have done so up to a couple of updates ago and with this course change on this update, it seems as if they are aiming the game back in that direction.

There are concerns related to people wanting to see what the Ancient plus cookie gacha and animation looks like but I think all should be focused on how much devsisters is doing for us. Devsisters is one of the best treating companies towards their fanbase and I think we can all agree on that.
I really hope they make it so we can change the appearance of the ancients back to normal (while still keeping the buffs from the awakened version), because it would suck to spend Rainbow Cubes to pull for legendary and epic costumes just for them to become unusable. Also, personally I kind of prefer the original look of Dark Cacao rather than his awakened look. 😅

What if they made it like Honkai star rail. The mc trailblazer can switch between the different forms and can be used separately technically. It would be kinda cool if they added something like that here maybe? Like you can switch back to original dark cacao if you ever wanted to. Then just switch back.

This is much better than separating the unit, cause with this not only DCC gets even stronger, but also increased their value more Sure we have to gacha those prism but it's better than having a unit you built or is your fave entirely gets shafted to being useless cause your other version is better than the original
They should make an option where you can use The Awakened Form and the Pre-Awakened Form of the Ancient Cookie, so that we can still use the Old Dark Cacao. But anyway, I don't know if that would be ok.
Wish they change the beascuit to have 20 tries instead of 16. Also it should be like magic candies in that every time you failed, you have a higher chance of success the next turns! Also another way to atune it than just crystals!

The easiest solution for the appearance is to just release the old Dark Cacao and his skin (if you actually had his skin before) as new free skins for the new Dark Cacao but idk if they will add his old voice lines (if they even changed but I think they did) and skill animation as well

We don't know if they'll let us use their default designs as a costume. 3. Dark Cacao's soulstones will still appear in pulls, medal shop, etc. The new system uses Soul Prisms which are a different currency you obtain from pulling; etc. 4. The bonds will remain unaffected as far as I'm aware, but I'm not completely sure.

The beastcuits improvements are frustrating. I was really really hoping they'd add some way to add more attunement options for maxxed out beastcuits. There is one beastcuits that haunts me because it has the perfect substats but is 1 of 4 maxxed. Just like toppings it's so incredibly difficult to get good substats. I can only hope that the new breakdown gives back a lot more.
