Most Chinese products give a higher bang for your buck because they pay their workers less, so products are way cheaper. Way lower profit margins too probably.
They don't pay workers less, that's a really stupid guess. It's a highly specialised economy which is the world expert in manufacturing. You could pay way less wages in more than half of the world but they would be poor undeveloped countries without the billions and billions worth of advanced production facilities and innovation. Specialisation lowers price. The more money you spend specialising and I'm am industry, the cheaper you're able to do it en masse. A spoon made in France is going to cost a whole lot more because the people in France that made it are a niche industry, it's much cheaper for them to do what they specialise in (such as cars) and sell those, while importing what other countries are best at. That's how countries and the world become rich. If China stopped manufacturing things, everything would be worse quality and a lot more expensive, because countries that don't focus on manufacturing have to now do it themselves. This is very basic economics, as in, the very first class.
I’m not trying to sound sarcastic or rude in any way I’m genuinely curious. What is the point of these glasses? Just for show in a bar setting or is there a real point in using them
China makes really good products on low costs just don't buy the absolute cheapest ones and expect it to be premium quality. Buy the ones with good reviews and from well known Chinese manufacturers. Those are the best deals.

Y'know, some of these AliExpress items are actually factory rejects or surplus. Like some of them are legit brand products but were rejected by the buyer for some reason so the factory sold it in bulk to other parties who then sell on AliExpress.
It's not just Whisky, you can pour layered drinks in it, make the layers a bit uneven with a straw and then spin it and it forms nice patterns in the drink. This not useful, it's pure flex and for aesthetics.

Please be aware that products from China are not cheap because they are from China, but it is because they have no qualms about using poisonous materials if that could save on cost. It is this lack of quality control that makes Chinese products more likely to be lower price and lower quality. For example, this glass could be containing lead.
Man, that's how things worked perhaps decades ago, it ain't how it is nowadays BTW, surprise surprise, such products need to go through the inspection of whichever nation they are exporting this to.
The Chinese glass still rotates not as even as the Shtox, but it' absolutely fine, if you're not willing to pay that much money on a glass. What I can totally relate to.
the german one is crystal instead of glass but still, with the difference in price, the chinese glass is the one to get. a single one of those german ones costs around the same as a good quality 6pc crystal whiskey glass set.
I bet you that its the same original factory producing it but as a side hustle from the owner. To not anger the original patent holder, they probably just made it smaller so it technically is a different product.
Amazon buys bulk from alibaba (source of aliexpress products but only sells in large quantities) some sellers offer brand name charging and other stuff then they do some modification or even leave it as it is and resell it an insane higher price .

I wish you would make videos exposing the heady glass bong industry like this
I’m not trying to sound sarcastic or rude in any way I’m genuinely curious. What is the point of these glasses? Just for show in a bar setting or is there a real point in using them
I got a Shotx glass for a friends graduation gift but seeing the quality is making me consider one for myself
I’d take the original.
It’s a cup…it’s not microprocessors
Can you do a video with how the rotating glasses interact with an ice diamond when you spin them in the same/opposite directions
"10 times less" is a mathematical impossibility
And yet you know what he's referring to. Please learn the bare minimum social awareness.
If you have an eye for craftsmanship, the difference is night and day. The second Chinese version still wobbles quite a bit in comparison.
I LOVE UR VOICE SM
Imagine your bartender pulls these out and starts spinning them while filling them… And they fall over
Looks like a great way to spill an expensive drink.
The one on the left was so smooth at the end, perfect if you add ice.
This guys voice is so soothing
"Let's get these cups on the grill. Lets do it!"
China makes really good products on low costs just don't buy the absolute cheapest ones and expect it to be premium quality. Buy the ones with good reviews and from well known Chinese manufacturers. Those are the best deals.

To me, it does make a difference. It’s the small details that matter sometimes. I would buy them for home or fancy bar.
Y'know, some of these AliExpress items are actually factory rejects or surplus. Like some of them are legit brand products but were rejected by the buyer for some reason so the factory sold it in bulk to other parties who then sell on AliExpress.
Who the fuck actually wants their whisky to spin?!?
It's not just Whisky, you can pour layered drinks in it, make the layers a bit uneven with a straw and then spin it and it forms nice patterns in the drink.
This not useful, it's pure flex and for aesthetics.
I would rather have the 4 dollar glass…64 dollars is a scam.
this is by far the most random shit i've come across on shorts
the voice is so calming
I love how you opened the box with a halo 6 otf nice! unless you also bought it off aliexpress real or fake they still work I've got quite a few....
I need the site ASAP
I didn’t even know these spinning glasses made it out of Germany and git big enough for China to copy😂
I mean… choose who you want to support.
Carley crafted product with high quality material vs mass produced low quality trash made by workers who probably aren’t paid well
95% of the times that not true example apple products are buy to a company buyed FoxConn
Anyone else obsessed with this guy's voice?
This guys voice makes me shiver
I like your voice
Thanks
Real German Quality is always better. And there is always a reason when something is cheap.
True. I like to think that my products were made by people who at least get a proper salary.
But to be fair, it’s like 70 dollars for a glass. Not to admit you can also probably find a relatively good quality for 20-30 dollars.
@@natebox4550 yes, but you don't buy them every day, right? And if you want a special glass for a special occasion, well... you buy a special glass and not an immitation.
Theres a glass factory nearby that sells these things too... theyre like 2 bucks, you walk in and then walk out, I use them to make my soda appear more fizzy.
your voice is so soothingg
“Congrats to everyone who is early and who found this comment”
Please be aware that products from China are not cheap because they are from China, but it is because they have no qualms about using poisonous materials if that could save on cost.
It is this lack of quality control that makes Chinese products more likely to be lower price and lower quality.
For example, this glass could be containing lead.
Man, that's how things worked perhaps decades ago, it ain't how it is nowadays
BTW, surprise surprise, such products need to go through the inspection of whichever nation they are exporting this to.
The non knock off also contains lead
@@rax1899 Chinese products are not regulated at all as opposed to western products.

this dudes voice gives me chills bro
The german one is crystal glass which makes it more expensive. Essentially a flex
Buy German if you can and make sure the workers making your shit are being treated properly
Thanks for the video !quite informative
I don’t even really drink liquor. I just like this guys voice.
Where do you buy the Chinese glasses? I like the comment that I do the spinning after drinking not the glass!
I recently bought a pair of knockoff AirPod and dang do they work just fine, everything is identical to that of my authentic pair.
Amazon buys bulk from alibaba (source of aliexpress products but only sells in large quantities) some sellers offer brand name charging and other stuff then they do some modification or even leave it as it is and resell it an insane higher price .
The moment that peaked my interest is that OTF !!!😂 is that a Microtech?
I've never drank at all but his videos are fascinating so I keep watching
