- In this video I flip through Johanna Basford's first ever published book - her art catalogue for her very first exhibition. I have made a video flip through before, but I decided to revisit her beautiful artwork and photographs and share the book again for those that have not seen it as I feel so honoured to have it and would like to share it again.

Omg Rachel I love this book.. I’ve heard about this book before I would love to get a copy I’m always on the lookout for it.. I’ve always wondered if all the buses 🚌 taxis post boxes and police 👮 officers in beautiful London the same in the rest of England.. I always call the UK my second home as my family is from there.. thank you for sharing ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxx
Thank you. I did see a copy for sale about a year ago for 5x what I paid for mine!! We all have red post boxes (apart from a few boxes that were painted gold after the 2012 London Olympics in towns where gold medallists lived), the police officers dress the same too but you do not see many in smaller towns but the buses and taxis are very different! We ar so lucky we can travel the world through the Internet these days, no need for flights and money!

Thanks for sharing that!!! That is tremendously fascinating. I have all her books, or I THOUGHT I had all her books. I'd love to have that one. Such a wonderful thing that you were able to purchase it. Did you get it in 2013? I love hearing about the journey of people and how that got to where they are. This is such a significant part of Johanna's path to her sharing her wonderful art with all of us. The book is absolutely a treasure!!!
I cannot remember exactly when I got it, but it was not 2013 maybe a few years after. I think Johanna had shown the dog she doodled on a video she did and mentioned the book or the exhibition and I did some digging!
