Just read that their live and BBC sessions, 1982-2011 CD, will be released next week!
Pentangle forever
Absolutely Bloody Brilliant
Beautiful music, expertly shot by camera operators who were trained in grammar of television. Compare this with today's incessant picture cutting and sideway cutaways!
I'm not free and easy ...
And don't call me Sally.
Incredible
Loving the remastered video and audio, looks sharp and sounds crisp.
Yall ever run across something on UA-cam that grabs you, then you spend years getting weird recommendations that remind you? Yup, this is mine. Love the easyness of the song and the voice as an instrument.
So far, this looks & sounds really good! I look forward to the whole video
Interesting take on the song. It's a little different from the later version released on "Solomon's Seal". They did the song during ITV's "Set of Six" in 1972 that really highlighted Danny's bass work and John played the solo on a Fender Telecaster running through a wah-wah pedal.
Song still brings chills to my heart after all these years.
Can't go back in time, but I would have been interesting to switch the vocal roles.
The Two Brewers is a fantastic gig. I love John' s guitar playing and how Jacqui' s voice is used as an instrument. She looks sharp too. Especially the shoes! ❤❤❤
Wow, even more new footage. Thanks so much. I prefer this to the album version
One of the most underrated bands of all time. Also check out the band Trees, which also has a female vocalist - Celia Humphris- with the voice of an angel.
Try the Woods band, ex Steeleye Span. ❤
As usual, levels of brilliance. Do a guitar solo!
Lovely.
I’ll be waiting for this one to premiere
Wonderful musicians arranging sadly-underrated Cyril Tawney
*_Utterly unique and pure quality ..._*
The best two-guitar band from the UK and most guitar hot shots have never heard of them. Got to take a clinic with John. Never got to see Bert. One of my life regrets.
So strange finding something and it's like brand new, but it's not, it's just unheard
To hear this for the first time is my wish.
Didn't know their version, mesmerizing
❤ lovely
LOVE your voice Bert
❤ pentagle hi
I loved pentangle. Always haunting and breezy.
wonderful...
A true classic off their last album with the original line up.
I am very heavily kidding.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Such talent
