- It's spooky season! Here's a speedpaint of my original character from a supernatural steampunk-ish themed project that I'm working on (which may or may not be a comic shh 👀)
Me posting something that has nothing to do with minecraft? Unbelievable.
So this is my first speedpaint ever. 😳
(which is why it's so fast lol it's because I'm insecure) I know everyone makes mistakes while drawing but I am slowly trying to build my confidence. 😅 I'll try to make the next ones a bit slower maybe!
I only recorded the clip studio paint window which means the color balance thing was invisible so that's why my cursor looks weird when I'm adjusting it haha.
I used Clip Studio Paint!
Then I used Photoshop to make a slight retro 3D effect.
I recorded the speedpaint with OBS and edited the video with VEGAS 13.
I draw with Artisul D16 Pro drawing monitor.

😭❤️ I really want to reveal his backstory but for now I'll have to keep it secret! The comic will be a part of my thesis, and I'm supposed to be graduating next year (I hope) :D so if everything goes well, I can publish the prologue chapter after I'm finished with school. ^^

Thank you! And it can take a lot of time since my sketches are messy too but I honestly think it's fun and it feels like I'm painting traditionally kind of. :D Maybe one day I'll make a speedpaint where I clean up the sketch instead of doing clean lineart!
