Everyone's solos are good. Great even. I'll bop to it, dance to it. But Jin's... His are the ONLY ones where I'll have to physically sit down, take a few deep breaths, and just exist. Just exist, close my eyes, and listen. The amount of passion and emotions in his tone puts him to the top as the best solo artist.

Jin always manages to keep on surprising me through the leaps of growth he has. He has one of the most unique voices that feels like he's crying out through his song. I just can't explain it exactly. It's like his voice is so powerful yet so fragile at the same time it could collapse with a breathe of wind. when he sings you just want to listen to the story he wants to say.

so true. the show is something different and has lots of ups and downs. The song Yours and Jin's use of his different vocal techniques are so fitting to the kdrama. Listening to Jin's voice and emotional singing, reading the lyrics and thinking of the Jirisan plot bring me to tears.

To me Jin is the kind of singer that always make you feel, their is something that he have in his beautiful voice that makes those notes get direct in your soul. I always will remember when he sing epiphany and all the stadium was crying their hearts out, it was such a healing crying for all of us. He has that kind of power

All I can say about Jirisan is everything about it is so op, the casts are all famous and A-listers, I have recognized every cast since everyone is from famous kdramas. The director was the same one who directed the famous kdramas (Goblin and Descendants of the Sun) and the writer is also very prominent (Signal, Kingdom). I would definitely recommend watching them. AND ADDING JIN TO THE LINE UP OF THE SINGERS FOR THE OST MAKES IT MORE DOPE. His voice perfectly captures the emotions of the main characters.

yes I do recommend Jirisan , the song is written just for the story..The lyrics is like the male lead is trying to communicate to the female lead.
i'm a seokjin bias and yeah i watch jirisan. honestly i first watched cos i wanted to have the full experience of when the ost drops. but, the show's pretty good! i'm hooked. as for jin's YOURS, i'm addicted (to pain as well lol). it's so beautiful. his voice never fails to reach my soul...

It's a great show, first K-drama I've watched and I'm loving it. But damn this song is everything, Jin brings so much emotion to his vocals but I would call his vocals on this track as haunting. I keep hearing his voice all day, especially the "la ta ta ta la ta ta..." Really exceptional.

This song has so many layers. When I first listened to it, I was blown away by Jin angelic voice. And I just kept going back to the song, listening to his narrative, feelings all his emotions. You have to pay attention to the sequence. They go from present to past through the series. It’s to help you understand what is happening in the present. Cast are wonderful. So many wonderful dramas, watching 5.

I fell in love with Jin's voice since I listened to Awake, the second song of BTS after Not Today that made me decide to be ARMY. Since then, Jin's sweet, beautiful, and powerful voice always stands out more in my ears in every songs. The emotion in his voice, it always has the healing and comforting power to me.

This song with Jin's voice is total perfection. I'd describe his voice as silvery, soothing like honey but powerful. This song was a gift not just for us but for Jin too - the perfect vehicle for him not just to sing a range of octaves and tones, but to emote - which is what Jin does with every slow song.
Someone said that Jin ACTS through singing, and I couldn't agree more (even more touching knowing that, before joining BTS, he wanted to be an actor). I love songs like this - but they're so hard to come by! So I definitely shared your excitement when you said "we have a new song!" It's understated but rich. And the "ratatata" part with the minor chords was designed to activate our tear ducts, no doubt. The perfect mood song for this time of year. So thankful for Jin, and the songwriter and producers who made this happen. (Also love the actress Gianna Jun but that's a different story).

I don't know why but Jin's voice always gives me chills... so powerful to me! And I think Jirisan is worth to watch. The screenwriter is Kim Eun Hee who is very good at mystery genre. She also wrote Korea's first Netflix original series Kingdom which is about Zombie, set during Joseon Dynasty period. Kingdom was mega hit so people had high expectations for her next work, Jirisan, and I think she's done pretty well this time too :)
