Notes from the video: When facing an enemy, sidestepping shows less of your body to them than gliding. If you must glide when being shot at, make your movement harder to track by wiggling side-to-side. You should almost never jump when taking a 50/50 fight. A 50/50 fight is one where neither opponent has a cover or utility advantage over the other. You can stringify and wait for the enemy to waste bullets or jump, then take that opportunity to fight back. When taking duels, attempt to use a right-sided peek. If you have to swing from the left, you are at a disadvantage. One way to attempt to mitigate this disadvantage is with unpredictable movement. Try jumping out, then double jumping back the way you came to quickly shift your momentum. This can always help when pushing, but especially when pushing wrong-sided angles. You can ADS to eliminate some of the angle disadvantage, since it moves your camera and crosshair to the center of your character. When moving around the map it’s faster to do a single hop and glide than it is to sprint. When climbing, it is faster to jump up the wall than just run up it. Mathematically, if you move perpendicular to a point you are moving at the maximum speed relative to that point. If you move straight towards or away from it, it is as though you are not moving at all. Therefore, you do not want to move at a diagonal to an enemy, because you are moving slower for them than you would be if you moved exactly sideways from their perspective.
Thanks for watching! Question, do y'all like this style of video where I teach something to a new player? Also, I didn't put background music in this one. In videos like this, do you prefer background music or not?

@@vicelcia The main reason you see Eika and Bai Mo players jump often is because it's quicker to close the distance. And sometimes if you are *super* close jumping can throw off an opponents aim quite a bit since the closer you are, the more they have to flick when you move.
as #2 Aika jumping in a 1v1 is just better in most cases since you're harder to track plus most people will try to paper we jump to get closer to them and find a point at which more of their body is showing.
At least this is simple enough y'know? It's not overcomplicated like (eugh) Valorant. For now, the only things to worry about are: -Stringify movement techs (A.K.A Paper cuts) -Stringify evasion techs (A.K.A Paper dodging) -Double Jumping -Tracking precision and focus (MOST IMPORTANT) -And of course, having fun Edit: People may invent more complex thingies to make the game hell but, as it is now, it's honestly... tameable. It's not like (eugh) Valorant where you have to know 2.022 things before being average instead of consistently good
if you want to work on tracking go into the training and mess with the settings of the bots, most of the good players superstring and above will spend atleast 30 mins to an hour in training before queueing.
if you gotta glide, face away from anyone who's shooting at you so that their gunfire comes from your left/right flank. Basically, if you're strafing, stringify while tracking your enemy with your crosshair + strafing with left or right (A/D). for simplicity, let's call it dodge-strafing. When gliding, face away from the enemy in a way that they will be shooting you from your right/left flank and then control your glide with forward/back (W/S). let's call it dodge-gliding. (Both can be called paper-dodges as a general term encompassing both techs for simplicity) This way you can still incorporate stringify dodges with bunnyhopping during fights. you just have to keep in mind that dodge-gliding works the opposite as dodge-strafing. gliding turns you into paper but you're facing wherever your crosshair is -- this means you have a wider area visible from the front, back, below or above depending on the angle the viewer/shooter is located but your direct left/right flanks are both paper-thin faces. the hardest part is flicking for that glide while bunny-hopping during fights. lol.
ngl that actually made a huge difference for me I was stuck on substance one for like 2 weeks with good aim and other stuff but only got launched off of it when I realized the stringify is so effing important.
I am still having the same problem when I was playing Cod mobile back in the day, that being I suck at winning long range fights using Sniper, but with paper and stuff I can win mid to close range about 50-60% of the time.. Idk if thats a mobility issue or just a me issue
As apex legend player who heal facing back my enemy while aiming ground, i always flying facing back so the best thing they do is giving me leg and ass damage
I have a question. What about Meredith passive? Its pretty predictable how her model is goin to move, when she is shooting in the air. How should we use this feature in the right way?
Also the stringify movement is less noisy and a good way to sneak around because you are way less visible, even a thin but tall structure can cover you. Use it to get the jump on enemies, especially the snipers and Audrey, don't challenge them head on I beg you guys pleeeease 🙏🙏🙏

Flame thrower, sword or close-range mag dumping, if they are long-range stringifying you and you have an auto weapon you need to change the situation to be more favourable to you before engaging

Yes, movement is definitely a problem for me, but ive noticed that for me, reaction time is the bigger issue, it takes me half a second to realize im being shot at and by that time im already either dead or at 20hp, but when i can see the enemy i can kill them pretty easily
I find out that high ping may also cause this problem too. Because by the time you see the bullets, the server already registered you dead before your local computer computes the results.
But when you move sideways you are so slow, is it still better ? And I also don't understand why on top bai mo clips, I see them jumping always and gliding.
If you are swinging towards someone, you can face forward when jumping and keep your momentum when you turn sideways. Bai Mo players jump and glide often because he has a shotgun and needs to get close in order to kill, and gliding is the fastest way to move.
Hello, maybe I can help you little bit. You need to engage your enemy around close - mid range using her, and gliding and engage with counter side ways to throw them off ((as like you need to escape but this one you use it for engage)) Every shot you want to commit you need to shoulder aim it for more consistent damage value, and if you feel there is enemy is on tracking you, you can use this video tech to double jump (( ideally you can shoot 1-3 times then use your second jump to the other side )).
Ps : ambushing with aika is really crazy when you want to duel someone, you have two option. First one you can hop peek with double jump or just run over to his side while hip firing (( the run over side can be good to not use it always )), but if you have right peek you can just swing fast and finish it off
Actually there is a lot to unveil with her, since there is also like a bulldozer strat where you actually need to distract their aim while shooting when also advancing more for the map control ( if you are the head of the bulldoze )
