I'm shocked that Ryan wasn't raised with a bunch of sisters. He talks like a man who was surrounded by women his whole life. There is something about a man raised with sisters. Any time he has a woman on I've never felt any kind of weirdness. There are men interviewers that you can just sense are either trying to flirt or talk down to women, but Ryan has this amazing way of relating to everyone. He makes anyone sitting across from him completely comfortable. His little girl is one lucky kid to have this man as her Daddy in her life. You know shes going to grow up with a complete view of how a man should treat her. Well Done Mr Sickler.
I met Ryan after his show in Edmonton a few years ago. He is as genuine as he comes off. Just a true gentleman and naturally very funny in person. My girlfriend at the time had a weird name and he carried on about it the moment I introduced her and immediately embraced her for it. He’s just himself. Solid dude.
Most podcasts I’ll pick if I want to watch or not because of who the guest is and whether I know them. This one I listen to every episode because everyone’s story is so different and wild and entertaining. I love it
As the daughter of a retired Flight Attendant I really enjoyed this episode. Ryan Sickler is a national treasure and the Honeydew is like free therapy every Tuesday. 💚
On the subject of mayonnaise, I remember on an old Crabfeast episode, Ryan said he liked cheesesteaks with a little mayo "just whispered on there," and that's how I've been ordering anything that comes with mayo ever since. Asking for "light" mayo, they always put too much.
Im so glad we got someone pleasant to listen to this week. Please Nikki stop going on podcast, they just turn into a hour session talking about your failed relationships.
It was one of the best nights for comedy, And it kept her "triggered " for four years straight. She ruined the show, took all the funny out of the room.
One of the few times I wish I could like more than once, I’ve seen Sarah here and there and never for long but now I’m for sure going to check her out. Thanks for the content Ryan and Sarah, y’all are the best ✌🏻
Love the way American comedians support their troops. In the Australian army no one here gives a fuck. I served with us troops in Iraq 1991 and they were such great allies. They gave us air support and Pepsi. Awesome soldiers.
Navy has a huge need for chemlights, during night time operations we need personnel and equipment to be marked so that we know who and what is where. Before any evolution like underway replenishment where we get our supplies and fuel, we have to have all of our attachment points that we hook up with to the delivery ship as well as every person working on the detail wearing one in case someone falls overboard we can spot them easier.
When you're young in the military faced by days of absolute boredom in a place you don't want to be sprinkled with times of terrifying violence you don't forget the names of the people you were with or the places they happened. Its much more searing then a town you once visited to go party in or an exciting ball game. It stand out because its so unique and seems endless at the time.
Just a friendly correction. I loaded cargo planes in the Air Force. The C-130 is relatively small. The C-17 is moderately sized. The C-5 is the giant. We used to load two 18 wheelers in those things.
Parents who get a lot of sleep trigger me, as my total deprivation of sleep during the first 3 years as a dad was one of the reasons for the resentment that ultimately caused our divorce. Sleep envy sucks.
That clip of "Laughing through Tragedy" on the Bertcast just about killed me. I was watching the full episode and I was a little high, hanging out, and I was laughing so fucking hard I started choking on my spit. Then I watched it again as I screen recorded the full 5 minute story again, because it's only so funny when preceded by 4 minutes of heartbreak. I immediately sent it to almost everybody I know with a sense of humor. Ryan Sickler is a top 5 human for me.
Hello, i just wanted to offer my uninformed and probably unwanted opinion. After clicking on this video i immediately checked the description because, although im a fan of The Honeydew, i personally don't know who Sarah is. After reading the description i still had to Google her. I think it should be standard practice for podcasts to include a short introduction to their guest in the description below. As it stands there's only Rogan and a small handful of others that do that. P.s This comment was humbly brought to you by someone that doesn't know jack about podcasting 👍🙃
I'd like to point out for those that might not know. Losing cabin pressure and having to reduce altitude is still incredibly dangerous. Flight plans are made to be at a certain altitude for fuel consumption. The higher you are the less fuel you have to use to propel the plane. So reducing altitude means the plans is burning fuel more rapidly and no longer traveling as fast so you run the risk of running out of fuel and having to glide but with a big plane glide factor is low and likely to fall rapidly.
Always stoked to see Sarah pop up on anything, but I gotta be honest... she told all these stories back on the feast. Not one or two of em either, all of em. Gotta check the tapes next time Ryan, steer that shit somewhere else lol
Current Soldier and long time fan. I am curious, Did she serve? I realize she has a 2 star as a family member, and numerous overseas tours (thank you, btw) but her knowledge of military jargon and SOP sounds like someone who has served. Especially when she referenced the GS pay scale/federal ranking system.

Ryan's twin Ryun wrote this.
Seems like a very genuine dude, and he's raising his daughter alone I believe.
Have always felt the same way! Podcast aside genuine interactions with men like this always make me thankful
Probably because he's raising a daughter.
Gahlee it really calms my soul when Ryan says “welcome back to the honey dew y’all” to the beat.
I have to agree
Most podcasts I’ll pick if I want to watch or not because of who the guest is and whether I know them. This one I listen to every episode because everyone’s story is so different and wild and entertaining. I love it
ya? how was the nikki glaser episode? lol
Always look forward to Ryan and his guest podcasts. Ryan’s laugh makes it the best. Such a kind hearted man.
I have to be honest, I couldn't get through 10 minutes last week listening to Nikki Glaser's voice ... Sarah T is refreshing!
Ditttttttoooooo
Bro not cool what if she saw this
Nikki is arguably one of the funniest Female Comedians on the stage today. Get outta here with this shit.
Same
Nikki was the first one I haven't listened to in a looonnng time.
I would pay to listen to Sarah talk forever with her pretty voice/accent!
This ep went by soooo fast! She’s a gem.
thought the same thing, I was playing chess and by the time I looked up it was already over.
Chewsdey is my favorite day of the week. Thanks Ryan!
I love how I pay for Patreon and I'll still be here laughing at your ad reads.
Hahah that’s hilarious
Damn. Bless the people who go overseas to entertain military members. Y'all are saints. Thanks Ryan. Great podcast.

1 Hour and Seven minutes of smiling. Thank you again Ryan.
Let’s start a petition to get Sickler on tour
Loved this one. Sarah is such a delight and your combined stories were so interesting.
As the daughter of a retired Flight Attendant I really enjoyed this episode.
Ryan Sickler is a national treasure and the Honeydew is like free therapy every Tuesday. 💚
Great episode guys!!! Sarah had me on the edge of my seat 😳😱 she's a wonderful story teller!!
Like night and day from last weeks episode to this one. What a sweet person she is. Sickler is always the man on every podcast. So funny.
On the subject of mayonnaise, I remember on an old Crabfeast episode, Ryan said he liked cheesesteaks with a little mayo "just whispered on there," and that's how I've been ordering anything that comes with mayo ever since. Asking for "light" mayo, they always put too much.
Great job on 100k Ryan. Hard work, dedication! 💪🎈🎉 Best interviewer in the game.
Ya the best you helped me and my friend I'm so grateful for your time on staying with us when we we're so stuck at home 🤠 Luv ya Honey Dew
Did anyone else get the feeling Sarah Tiana might actually be a high-level CIA operative?
Sarah Tiana is an absolute gem
Anyone but Nikki Glaser
She survived the stars of death.
Like a doctah!
Sarah is so awesome. She’s the only reason I’d want an Atlanta sports team to win a championship just because I know that would make her happy.
This has been just a wonderful episode
Loved her on lights out! This is awesome.
Was that the show hosted by David Spade on COMEDY CENTRAL 🤔
@@Mannydamon it is!
@@samhuff999 It was a great show, probably would of revived CC channel. Instead of just South Park re-runs and Daily Show
Tiana's an incredible presence. Loved her since YMH 447.

Her voice makes me comfortable
I can't stop associating her with the 2016 election and how Bill Burr ran circles around her "reasoning" on election night.
That's sad
@@ExistentialBordem I agree. She seems like a good person.
It was one of the best nights for comedy,
And it kept her "triggered " for four years straight. She ruined the show, took all the funny out of the room.
Is there a yt video of it?
What happened??

Such a better guest than nikki glazer
I love the honey dew, but I skipped her.
I litterally can't stand listening to her on pod casts. Same conversation every pod cast..
Love the way American comedians support their troops. In the Australian army no one here gives a fuck. I served with us troops in Iraq 1991 and they were such great allies. They gave us air support and Pepsi. Awesome soldiers.
I love that pepsi is up there with air support. As an Iraq vet I can think of a a few comforts that would have ranked up there with air support.
Love Sarah!!! Great episode Ryan, keep 'em comming!
Love her voice and she knows here military procedures well.

"How do you spell emergency?"😂
Soo glad to see Sarah on.
What's up honey dew ppl!
It blows my mind that she can remember all the names of these random ass middle eastern towns and military bases lol

I'm glad I overcame my initial impression of Sarah T-iana from Rogan's New Year's Last Podcast on Earth a few years back. She's lovely.

Shout out to Sarah Tiana for following up Felipe Esparza with some white girl trauma stories.
Most under rated podcast!! Keep honeydewin!
I don't know about yall, but my fruit salad STARTS with Honeydew... congrats on the success. Love hearing Sarah Tiana, this ladies great.
Sarah is awesome
Great show. Glad I found. Felipe episode brought me here.
Great Podcast Ep, Loved the Military Stories!
Video on Tuesdeeeee
Ryan should be the one who has the alias AKA MRLADYBUG
Excellent podcast I really enjoyed it!
There is no budget for glow sticks. I had hundreds of them long after I left the army.

They wouldn't give antibiotics for viral meningitis anyway because antibiotics target bacteria.

Sarah T is still a total hottie. I'm pretty sure I saw her in Iraq pre 2010 all dolled up.
