I just bought a few of these phones. One of my main aims is in one. I love this phone. It's a refreshing style. I hope LG sees all the videos about this phone and all the comments. They should come back to the phone business and just work on this model.
LG went out with an encore with this phone, I have 2 of them and the first one is still running strong and I'm waiting on Android 13 update which should be arriving soon, this phone still turns a lot of heads whenever I swivel it open😮😮... What kind of phone is that, they say!! LG will always be my favorite brand, I still use my V20 for its quad- Dac and Bluetooth capabilities, I sure hope LG comes back one day, to the smartphone arena... Great video!!
Bought my Wing back in July 2022 and already got it updated to Android 12. I still love the whole experience of this quirkily amazing phone. The swivel screen might look cool, but I'm more drawn towards the dedicated gimbal camera. Despite the 1080p/30fps video limitation, I totally love how buttery smooth the gimbal stabilization is, and that's before I even got to play with various gimbal video modes. What I also love about the Wing is the fact that LG can give AES stylus support and USB-C 3.1 with wired video output despite using an upper-midrange Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Google Pixel 5 uses that same SoC, and yet you got neither of those features. Hands down, definitely one if the best purchase I've ever done in my life alongside my LG V50 with its detachable Dual Screen case.
My Velvet just updated to Android 13 this morning👍👍 A couple of nice new usefull features where added. My Velvet is the Korean variant. Im sure my Wing which is also Korean model will follow soon.
This was my device when I was doing deliveries because I'm a courier I broke the front screen glass places to where I can get the glass repaired the glass is on backorder so as soon as I can find a US version of this glass for the LG Wing I'm getting it fixed and rocking back with it in my rotation. Everybody's down with the Galaxy Z flip the Z folds I'm rocking the wing and I had a lot of people just blown away when I whip this thing out and swiveled it Samsung who Samsung what
Definitely not slow. Got this over a month ago and it's great. The android 12 it has right now seems to have stability issues though so you may experience freezing (3 second freezes) every now and then atleast from my experience but it's nothing major. This will get android 13 soon so yeah.
It also have sub6 AND mmWave 5G connectivity. I have a T-Mobile tower near me and have measured over 700Mb data rates. Zero phones I ever have can see that. Barely any phones made have both these on them.
I purchased this phone and waiting for it to come in to replace the phone i have been using since i switched providers 5 years ago. which is samsung galaxy A20 so the lg wing 5G will be a huge upgrade for me! LOL
If it was me I would get the S20 Ultra because of expandable storage, 45watt Superfast Wired Charging and 9 watt Reverse Wireless Charging, and the lower price
Vern I definitely believe that you get that much battery life I just know on mine when I was using it as a courier I had both screen open brightness up but even then when I didn't have both screens open I didn't get very good battery life and it could have just been a renewal unit battery life just probably been used up quite a bit before I got a hold of it but I can probably squeeze almost a day a battery life I may have to charge it up like around 3 in the afternoon and I normally start my work shift around 6
I may just because you asked me too but I'm definitely not going to keep it because I don't really care for Motorola devices. The device I'm really excited about getting soon is the Vivo X-Fold and the Vivo X-Note
What you think Vern if they would have added the Dac headphone jack dual stereo speakers and the phone swivel do you think this would have been LG's best all-around phone or would have been the V60
For real the tragedy is that LG closed their mobile division just as they released this thing... Both a cheap version or one with specs that didn't suck would likely have seen massive success. ( 120hz, SD8 ) The T-shape allows you to put the controls on the bottom and one-hand the phone like nothing else.
I shattered the front screen of my LG wing I was told it's going to cost about 250 bucks to replace the screen so I went on eBay and found a LG wing for about two hundred forty-nine bucks. It's definitely not like the renewed conditions of the Amazon versions but for 249 I couldn't pass it up because it's going to cost the same price to replace the screen on the one that I shattered. The front screen has a lot of micro scratches on there but I guess it's better than having the screen shattered as a delivery driver it really helps having dual screens I've got one screen open for GPS the other for communication with dispatch I'm not fumbling around on one screen
Hello. which phone do you think is better in terms of display and cameras v60 or Wing. And which one is better in principle. I don't know which one to take.
The wing has the better display but the cameras on both are pretty similar. The LGV60 has the larger battery, a 32bit hi-fi quad daq, a headphone jack and dual stereo speakers
@@vernonleewarren280v60 still shoots in 8K. And how much battery power do you have? There is also such a moment, if I take v60, then it will not be updated in my country, it will remain on androyd 10, and Wing will be updated. Does it matter in your opinion? maybe they improved the cameras with updates.
@@КириллМихеичев yes the V60 shoots in 8k. If updates matter to you then you should get the Wing. I couldn't tell any difference in camera quality with the updates on either device
@@vernonleewarren280you said the Wing has a better screen, is it really that noticeable compared to the v60? what does it express? Does the v60 feel as good and premium in the hand as you say about the Wing?
I had mines for about 4 months and I love it.

lg was one of the best inovative companies.....i miss lg phone....
We all do. We love them for being daring and different from the norm.
I think LG were on to something with this, shame they didn't stick around long enough in the mobile game to make a second gen of it
Ikr. The gimbal camera is beyond spectacular.
Ciao.. complimenti per il video.. per favore puoi mettere il link per comprare la cover Ke tu stai usando? Grazie
hello.. congratulations for the review.. where can I find this cover? links? Thank you
I don't have a link for it. I bought it 2 years ago

That's a very good question my friend. I would say only if it also has a IP68 Water and Dust Resistance rating and a bigger battery. Then yes.
I miss LG they always tried to be different.
