That was, hands down, one of the best videos I've EVER seen on UA-cam. Tracy, you exude humor and the outtakes were a great addition to the vid. Directions were clear and concise (between whiffs while grinding) that is. Whoever did the vid was a real pro and the entire vid was of exceptional professional quality. Once again I loved the outtakes so don't leave 'em out in future vids. I'm now going to search for some more of your recipes. Thanks for the instruction and the laughs.
Our family used to grind horseradish for the holidays and it became a celebration except for my mother wish just found the spell too strong and I love her videos because it is a reminder of how we all were when we were grinding the horse radish but in those days we use the mandolin and didn't upgrade to a food processor until we grow into our teens and I still love horseradish and a good root is very hard to find in a grocery store HAPPY GRINDING!!
What a charming young lady! And this looks like fun, but when I do it [outside] I'll have my family and friends over to share the fun. Thanks for the vid.
Really great video.T hat segment in which you stuck your nose in a bowl of horseradish reminded me of the the time when my mother and my brother made horseradish. She did the same thing. When my brother asked her why she did it, she, being an honest Depression- era farm girl, said the only thing she could say, "I don't know." Good answer, Mom.
You were having so much I am going out right now to dig some horse. It grows wild along the creek. Enjoyed the video, it even brought my wife in from the other room to watch. Great fun.
Been there, done that. It was fun watching someone else dealing with the vapors LOL. Great channel, just found it and suspect I will be an avid viewer. Take care.
havent grown my own but get it a the farmers market on Saturday. I use champagne vinegar and white vinegar little salt and dash of lemon juice. I take the blendtec blender outside..or..you will suffer the wrath of the radish lol
must be some hot stuff :) i felt bad for you when u tryed to can them im going to try to make it hopefully i can breath thru my mouth haha :) your really awesome :)
I did this same thing the woman did at the end with sniffing it... except i sort of inhaled as well and nearly passed over. Phew, that batch was some good stuff. =]
Who was the first to use horseradish? Documented use by Egyptians goes back as far back as 1500 BC, it was also documented historically throughout Europe and in Jewish populations as far back as written history goes. So who ever that was, they have been dead for at least 3,500 years, likely far longer :-)
*WRONG...What is it with these fools and their food processors? Food processors do not grind. They SLICE...Proper horseradish needs to be processed with food grinder using the smallest grinding plate/knife you have. My personal favorite is a Climax #50 hand crank with the flour/coffee grinder plate. You can pick these up online or at flea markets and antique shops everywhere for about $10.00. Fresh horseradish root already contains plenty of it's own water. His is dry because he's not grinding it. Grinding PRESSES the juice from the fibers while cutting it.. Adding water just dilutes the grind. If you like bland watery horseradish then by all means...Continue on...*

The video on making sauerkraut was great, my husband and I make it every year . Always room for improvement and we thank you for sharing!
Watching from Kentucky,…. The Blue Grass State . I have to try this stuff
This lady is incredible.
I love horseradish. I like to mix with turmeric root, ginger root, garlic and dried chilies.
I'm thinking if the soil was wetter it may have been easier to pull the roots.

Will lemon juice do the same thing as vinegar? I’m allergic to vinegar!

Priceless! And what poise! I’d have been swearing and spewing snot all over the camera.

How long will this keep ??
All the horseradish I have seen is way bigger than carrots. Are you sure you let them grow long enough?
Dang! She’s beautiful!
"we like it hot so we gonna grind it a bit more"
Its so gooood to eat😄
A cure for a head cold in my family for generations has been to eat a heaping spoonful of horse radish. Haha, I know your pain.
I did this same thing the woman did at the end with sniffing it... except i sort of inhaled as well and nearly passed over. Phew, that batch was some good stuff. =]

Are you into M&Ms? Self torture
Talk about being a glutton for punishment...
Ok, you are so beautiful. You love one of my passions, (gardening ) now if you like deep sea fishing, I want to marry you~~!!
Your nose looks OK I don't think wearing a closepin on it would help it any.
You have big hair.
