If that's a Petrof III, I bought mine new about 28 years ago. I shopped a LOT for months and played every brand under the sun -- high-end, low-end and everything in between. There was nothing else I played that sounded as good, bar none. The best part was I paid $20,000 for it from the dealer and to this day consider it the single best purchase I ever made. Thank for you showing Petrof the love and admiration they deserve.
I love that you collect art that is otherwise someones discarded gold ... this is close to my ❤️ Btw stumbled across your channel a few weeks ago. Big respect. Big respect for your sucess, your store, your career your knowlege about our instruments and art. Im an intermediate pianist back to playing at 42 after a 20 year life sebatical 😅 ..im all the way in new delhi india. I recently changed my trusty 30 year old yamaha to a kawai gl30. I watched many of your videos and comparitives and i respect how you have trust and value in some of the japanese and asian products. I still havent understood the chinese manufactured product as I have seen the Japanese pedigree of Yamaha or Kawai age in front of me for 30 years and hold its value. We all love the europeon pianos and steinways, as do i too.. but I am coming to realise in 2023 how beautiful even a new japanese made grand can be. Have had the brand new GL30 recently prep'd by a leading concert technician here in New Delhi, not jsual for a piano of this segment to go through a full concert prep. However a few sittings with him later, the piano now has become maybe a GX for me and will continue to open up and sing. Hope to visit you one day. I used to study up at the university of rochester NY and the eastman school of music, back like 20 years ago. Cheers 😇
Always enjoy your post. I have played a Petrof the same size as this one. Only in wood finish. Wonderful piano. Is on a church. It is not as broad sounding as a M.H. or Baldwin or Kawai, but a very nice piano. Extremely nice smooth and responsive action.
I love what you and your team does. :-) Keep up the amazing work. It would be great to meet you in person. I would love to be able to become a piano technician myself. Although I am visually impaired.

I love your passion for pianos! I’d want one of those drawings too. Very cool to have those framed.
