I do a bit of franchise, so here's a couple tips. One: security guards. You actually don't need one till you have a thousand or more continuous guests. They do very little, and their workloads are always low. Second is to upgrade staff before considering hiring new ones. They can each handle up to like 3 enclosures, but only if they are pretty upgraded. Staff and food are the biggest drains you'll encounter. Vets and keepers especially.
Great tips! I'm training staff as soon as they're able. With just the 3 habitats, my 1 fully upgraded keeper was starting to struggle a little, maybe because there's 7 different species across those 3 habitats
I'm looking forward to this series! I have never played Franchise, so as well as being the normal entertainment videos you do, this will be educational too!
im so happy i found you. you've literally taken me to planet zoo school and helped me graduate top of the class. love the videos and thank you for the blueprints
uh oh. this is dangerous. I fell in love with this series about 30 seconds in. I have too much work to be doing. 😂😂😂 really enjoyed this video, can't wait to see what you come up with. 🧡
I wish animals could attack guests in this game. That’s all I need (aside from more animals) They poop, they look realistic, they just need to be able to maul guests
I know it's far too late for this, and you probably figured this out on your own at some point, but for the future the Zoopedia only tells you which animals actively benefit from living together, not which CAN live together, pretty much all African savannah herbivores can happily share a habitat whether they appear in each-others' Zoopedia or not
I would not be mad at overlapping education speakers, i would be confused. I would just be looking at the penguins and hear: The African Penguin is a Apex Predator native to the African Savanna.
i`m curious to see how this will develop down the line! did you pick 5x slow aging in the options to minimize micromanagement of populations? in my experience it's almost impossible to tank a well established zoo, so after the number of species you already added, i think the elephants are going to be okay. especially in a zoo that is easy to traverse and doesn't challenge the guests too much with elaborate habitat designs.
There's definitely some work needing doing with the entrance still. There'll also be multiple entrances to help with flow of guests at a later date. Regarding the educators, I've been hesitant up to now as I'm not sure how well they work compared to how much they cost. I'll likely add them at some point but right now just a bit worried it'll start costing too much for not much reward
They will in general, but I created a huge enclosure with a null barrier so all of this was within the enclosure, and animals at least obey barriers within enclosures
I have a sandbox zoo with every Vanilla animal where all the habitats are floating islands.

@Plastic Swans yeah the bigger habitats and more animals might cause problems since they do have to feed more often too.
I love franchise mode! I can’t wait to see how this turns out
I'm looking forward to this series! I have never played Franchise, so as well as being the normal entertainment videos you do, this will be educational too!
I've not played a lot of franchise myself either, so I'm prepared for making some mistakes!

Hyped for this franchise series 🙌
Franchise zoo!! Lets go!
I'm legit scared! Have to be actually competent now haha
Very happy I found this
How did this not blow up this is unreal !?!?
Thanks, it's been a long journey!

It would make for some interesting zoo stories certainly!
Infact, if they could do that, you could make a video “which is the most dangerous animal in planet zoo”
Legend
In Zoo Tycoon they were able to! I was very surprised that the animals don’t attack the guests or staff in this game.
Do you remember me hahaha I’m watching all your videos I’m on this one now
The animal squid game was my favorite
This is a great way to get that zoologist achievement!
This is basically Jurassic World Evolution but with zoo animals instead of dinosaurs.
Anyways, looking forward to the next episode!

Can't stop watching this series
Thanks! Hope you're enjoying it!
absolutely love this, and so excited for this!
Exited for this!🎉 ❤
Well this a serpries it's been a long time since I watch this!
I would not be mad at overlapping education speakers, i would be confused. I would just be looking at the penguins and hear: The African Penguin is a Apex Predator native to the African Savanna.
😂
Lets gooo. Im doing the same thing but using only your habitats.
It looks great
Thanks!
My favorite series
this Franchise zoo its looking great so far and I can't see what's next
Very excited to see how this zoo goes! Would be happy to donate a few animals to this zoo to keep it alive!
Great idea :) The market is so volatile!
i`m curious to see how this will develop down the line!
did you pick 5x slow aging in the options to minimize micromanagement of populations?

Yep, I've turned aging to 5x slower. I'll suffer with the credits turnover, but I think it'll be impossible to manage the animals at any other speed!
you could try build a fountain near the entrance ., btw are you going to hire educators?

I‘ve just started watching the series, did this include exhibit animals?
It does! Whenever they come up in the zoopedia they get added same as with the habitat species.
don't the animals and ppl go through construction pieces? didn't get how you use them as barriers
They will in general, but I created a huge enclosure with a null barrier so all of this was within the enclosure, and animals at least obey barriers within enclosures
tried doing that, but the flamingos kept running for it... will figure it out@@PlasticSwans
So exciting 🎉
Perfect 🥰
Im exited
Question is going to be all 153 animals including exhibit creatures
Yep! Intention is to add everything, including the exhibit animals too
