That last bit from the agent about stealing life is very powerful and important for everyone to understand..those people understood and didnt care. It's sickening.
I agree! It seems it's ok for these murdering psychopaths to dish it out, but most of them show their cowardly tendencies when the boot is on the other foot, hey!! It's downright sickening!!
The same way they only give child predators a few years and send em on their merry way. Then, act so shocked when they attack ANOTHER CHILD. I can't wrap my head around it or remotely comprehend someone actually saying someone isn't a "danger to society" after undeniable proof they have been nothing but a menace over and over. Some conspiracies seem to not be a conspiracy anymore and I'm not even into all of that but, there has to be a reason they allow some of these people back on the street
@@baileyarnold2020Absolutely. They are not rehabilitatable. Even worse when they're released early for "good behaviour". It's easy to behave well in a prison where there are no kids to attack.

Everything he did is sickening but when the cot was found covered in blood, a bullet hole in the pillow with the bub nephew missing, the cops must've absolutely broken down. Especially when the mummified, decapitated corpse was found. I had a shit ton of books on serial killers (and I'm not squeamish but some of the reading was harsh) but this PoS always stuck with me. I hope the guy who found the bub's body got the help he needed. He went to pieces and I don't blame him one bit.
They have always been there. They just started gaining popularity in the 70s and 80s. And some still exist today but it’s more difficult with dna and surveillance technology.
I've heard construction of highways in the 60's gave them a boost because they can move around fast. Later it became more difficult for serial killers, especially the ones that are more messy, because of advances in technology and media technology.
There was no DNA technology, no cellphones with cameras and very few surveillance cameras around. Much easier for them to go unnoticed. Highway systems made it simpler for them to move around also. Nowadays it’s much harder for people to get away with crime sprees like these people did. It still happens tho. They’re definitely still out there.

Nothing was stolen though. He gave his life over due to his actions.
It always gets me when a killer is worried about being sentenced to death.

Also when they say "I have to live with this" in reference to their crimes.
Poor Ricky. Much respect for the detectives who had to work on that case. It takes a strong mind to stomach something like that.
May he RIP 😢

"Not a danger to society"?! What idiots.

Mr. Ray Biondi was one of the best detectives back in the days

He was so crazy and delusional, he barely covered his tracks... It was pure luck for him to get away with it even for a week. Totally cuckoo.

I’ve lived in Sacramento my whole life why don’t I remember this guy???
The Golden State Killer was also active at that time so they may have been focusing on that.
Maybe because blood suckers are nothing unusual in Sacramento.
Absolutely INEXCUSABLE that they had to exhume that child's body. I hope that haunts those incompetent investigators to this day
It's not the child anymore. It's only the remains.
Great documentary!💖
Thank you for posting this. 😁☕️
Drinking the blood .... horror.Dracula in Sacramento....😢😢😢😢
"Honey, call the police quick! Someone stole my pulmonary artery!"
So in his crazy mind it didn't matter if you were human or animal. As long as you had blood in your body!!
Well said 😮
O, boy 💯
Dude was properly nuts.
How in the actual F did they release him from the mental facility??? Smh
I live in the Midwest, so nowhere near this event, but learning about this guy (initially years ago) made me start locking my doors.
Good!
It definitely made me extra cautious too.
I don’t understand not locking doors. Maybe cause I grew up in South America but u lock EVERYTHING
You should always lock your doors! I can’t be in my house without my doors locked. Crazy not to
wow it's nice to meet a scared sheep
I remember reading about this dude on Wikipedia. Wild story!
If they every make a movie on this guy they should get Tyson Ritter to play the role or Matthew McConaughey
It's difficult to say what's worse... The henious crimes of Richard Chase, or the amount of ad breaks in this video.
Considered not to be a threat to the public???
I read the book on him many years ago. Thanks for the upload♥️
Should have let him go to Papa New Guinea back when they had the Kuru outbreak
The sadness 😢
Very interesting video indeed...thx for sharing😢
I love how the sickest killers of all time are from the westcoast 😂
Dracula of Sacramento is a predecessor of Jeffrey dahmer some creepy...stuff here
Stole 400 years of people's lives........
The law doesn't take seriously enough cruelty and murd3r of animals. It's not about being snowflakes, it's public safety.
The US ranks first when it comes to serial killers. Over 3,600 known from 1992 onwards. India with population of 1,4 billion has 130.
@@David-vf5rf
Probably but some serial killers in the USA have also not been caught. This applies to all countries.
And the highest numbers come outta South America.

Lots there too but nowhere near the US
Don’t forget that the 90’s were the deadliest decade.

On the Second story-I had never heard that. What a wonderful gentleman that agent is
why always every notorious serial killer "worked" during the 70's and 80's?
