I kind of like the rose-gold tone to the copper patina, even if it isn't the right one. It would be cool to try and get that effect on purpose on a different piece!
Curious if you patinaed the first piece closer to the time you soldered then the other piece. The longer you let a piece sit after immediately soldering the more it oxidizes. And even know you used the exact same method, what is different and very hard to replicate is the amount of ocidizeing that goes on. Oh gezzzzz hopefully that makes a little sense! Good luck, have fun! This is the fun of creating art!!! Much LOVE Always! ✌️🫶😁
@AmayaJade yea that definitely helps but it's impossible to know each level of lead oxidation throughout the entire process unfortunately. Haha Now you know why everyone is hesitant on using the copper patina cause it's soooo unpredictable! It's still unpredictably beautiful though! 💕
I know you're saying you messed up, buy omg....how fantastic does the Crow look with the black patina....so , as bob ross would say, "a happy little accident " ❤❤
ONE QUESTION what if you are peeling the sticker and the sticker rips? Also pls dont put my comment in the video or mention my name please i dont like strangers seeing my comment

Thank you!

it looked more pink like a rose gold and looked beautiful
I like the black too!
Me too!
I love the pink tbh
I may be in the minority, but I actually liked how the copper patina looked. You do you though!
I would not polish before the patina, only after. I also use Liva or Clarity finishing compound.

I always patina as soon as I’m done soldering so I’m not sure what it was!

Thank you! 😊
I think it still looks good, more like a European starling with that colour rather then a crow
How do you remove the patina?
Steel wool!
Doesn't that scratch the glass?
It doesn’t!
The black was so cool
It looked so good! Way better than the black
How did u do it wrong? I thought you just rubbed the chemical on the solder and then cleaned the glass, non?
The copper turned out more pink than the gold I was going for!
maybe you forgot to put wax before putting the patina like last time 🤷♀️ i still this it looks beautiful
