The Galaxy Watch Ultra is a great watch. If you do some research, you will know that 90% of the watch design is based on the Samsung Gear Sport, and the other 10% is the Apple Watch Ultra. I have had both the watch and the Fold 6 since 24 July 2024, and the battery life for both items has improved. The Fold 6 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra are my personal devices, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is my work device along with the Apple Watch Ultra 2 that I was luck to get my manager to purchase. So I can say both Apple and Samsung are on top of the smartphone game. So, no matter what phone and watch you have, you have the dest device for the platform.
I had the version 1 galaxy watch and I am still wearing the version 3 galaxy watch. Neither of these two watches counts flights of stairs well. Does The Galaxy Watch 7 count flights of stairs properly?
It's rarely great -- sadly the Watch Ultra has gone back to Samsung so I can't do a quick test for you -- though it's nice to hear the 3rd gen Galaxy Watches are still rolling along well!
Samsung began making smart watches before Apple and the ultra 7 is not even close to a copy of apple. The ultra 7 takes its design queues from the gear watch of about 7yrs ago. The band color has become a diving standard for visibility, both apple and Samsung are borrowing from that.
Only the classic watches have the rotating bezel. The watch 5 pro didn't have it either. They are still selling the watch 6 classic. If they put it in both watches there is no way people would buy the 6
As I said in the video, if it were up to me, each year would have the rotating bezel -- and then they wouldn't have the problem of trying to sell the 6 classic, because the 7 would have it! But then, I don't run Samsung...
@@dantheman7529 Sure, I know *why* they do it. I just think that they shouldn't. Marketing isn't always (and often isn't) consumer-friendly. It just wants your money.
@AlexKidman thet are they are trying to sell out the warch 6 classic. As I stated before they did it with the watch 5 pro from watch 4 classic. But yes it isn't the same with out the bezel. I have had all the watches since the watch 2
@Tha-King-Arthur ya. I get all of that. I had an Ultra for 3 days and had to return it. The back of the watch gave my wrist a bad rash. Plus I did 3 walks with it when I had it. I do the same walk everyday and my distance and heart rate on the ultra was identical to what I get everyday on my 6 classic. 6.32 miles. That's why I'm fine keeping my classic. Ya it's a bummer I had to return the ultra I bought but it was actually alittle bit of a relief because I really didn't like not having the rotating bezel. The digital bezel sucks. Plus I just did a 2 hour walk tracking with my 6 classic and I went from 100% battery to 88% battery. 12% drop in 2 hours. Just saying.
Returning mine. The battery sucks. Contrary to anyone's opinion. Going back to my 6 classic and Garmin for exercise. All these reviewers are all full of crap.
Have you given it atleast 1 week to kick in? I've had mine 3 days and it sucks at the moment but every time I've used a Samsung watch or phone, it's crap for 1 week lol. This watch is way too beautiful to return

@@AlexKidman called marketing. There is a reason for no rotating bezel

Isn't that the titanium grey and the GW6 classic is still available on the website
Your wrist size please? Thx
I'm sticking with my 6 classic and hoping for an 8 classic upgrade next year.

Unfortunately when they moved away from tizen the battery suffered and still continues to. I just got my ultra, I'm curious to see how it will perform
I've got the 6 Classic in both colors but still wear my 5 Pro daily.
6C's make good dress watches.

You need a week to kick in (for ai) and turn off LTE if you don't have LTE for it.
