I could be wrong but vented disks doesnt mean drilled it means theres cooling ribs between the brake surfaces. The disks are thicker and are not sollid metal from face to face where the pads interact.And that would make vented the more realistic choice.
Prob not gonna mean much cuz of how old this video is, but I did some research on SUVs from around 2009 from bmw to honda, and all of them seem to use Multilink suspension for the rear, I think that could help your builds and improve the car's handling
