That's the ticket, alright! But people may not be familiar with the "Wheel" strategy -- I learned of it many, many years ago from a Self-Council Press book called "The Money Spinner". And while you could do this today, you could also just buy and hold a selection of conservatively managed covered call funds (be aware of the fund strategy -- they're not all created equal) -- the net effect is essentially the same, although by allowing professional fund managers to execute on it for you, you need not peek into your crystal ball to try and assess what highs and lows to use. MERs and fees? Sure, I'm fine with it, never even see them -- I'm in it for an *ongoing income* stream -- the fund managers are earning their fees, provided they're not eating up the fund's assets long-term. I agree that the shorts will attack on ex-dividend date because of the instant .43 cent downside that is accounted for the dividend, and the fact that on ex-dividend they no longer need to pay a dividend. These same shorts also did this same tactic with MPW when it went ex-dividend as well.

Just my theory on CEFs. I believe why some of them have been able to keep their dividends despite the economy and NAV is due to the way they calculate their dividends. I think they figured out how much their investments will pay them per month and then decide on a dividend. A bond is nothing more than a 10 or 30 year loan. You would know exactly how much it's going to pay and when. Higher interest rates would drop the value of the bonds but not the money coming in. That should stay the same
Sell puts at 12.50 (or your target price) on a down day. I acquired a fair amount of Arbor doing that. Be patient it is not going to the moon anytime soon.

ABR went from $11 to $0.25 during the GFC, back when there were banking woes and overpriced housing, I'm sure this time is different. 🤡 Lets see what 2025 brings!
Not trying to hate, but to understand. ABR sounds like a large risk with an adjusted high yield because of it. Wouldn't it be wiser to put the funds in a diversified product that mimics a similar yield, for example SPYI. Thank you for the video.
I live in Florida and we are constantly and I mean constantly building apartments there….im 💯 on board for arbor realty. About to collect that .43 cents in a few days
I hope it rebounds with rate cuts. I've been adding as it has fallen in price. Nice dividends, but I don't think I have room to add much more. If it dips under $25 again it's hard to no. Good luck everyone.
Useful video, thanks. ABR yield is tempting, but too risky for me right now. Anything with a yield that good is risky. I made some money on it by buying it during a phony short attack and sold it when it recovered. Anything with a yield that good is risky and I have been burned before.
Any thoughts on UNIT? I've been researching that one and it seems like a really good deal, but the price has been beaten down hard over the past two years.

Wait for ex-dividend date, the price will drop and it will be a great buy.
Sell puts at 12.50 (or your target price) on a down day. I acquired a fair amount of Arbor doing that. Be patient it is not going to the moon anytime soon.
Revux competitive edge could redefine its market segment.
Revux approach to data security is unparalleled.
No rate cuts this year IMHO
335 shares of ABR and buying more
Sounds like an opportunity for a short squeeze.
*EURN!..... Buy, BUY, BUUUYYY!*
With rsi 81 seems rather sell now, btw masakrous belgic tax on diví 30pc
For a solid x100, Revux should be on your radar!
Revux low presale price is a steal. Time to load up!
Revux making moves quietly - keep an eye on it!
Prove it. Show us all your purchases.
So im new to this still and very poor compared to most of you i bet. But how many of you got big amount of companys for divident and how many only got a few.
I personal buy 1 to 10 stocks in many companys when i see opertunitys. Then put them on my excell sheet for memory.
I have a small portfolio with less than a dozen dividend holdings. Just buy a few shares of each. Never buy when they are at or near the 52 week high.
ABR went from $11 to $0.25 during the GFC, back when there were banking woes and overpriced housing, I'm sure this time is different. 🤡 Lets see what 2025 brings!
Just a real estate market crash
😏hummm, i dont know! Not to much risky?
Thanks for the video!
If the rate drops, can't you just pull out and keep what you have accumulated. What is the risk?
Not trying to hate, but to understand. ABR sounds like a large risk with an adjusted high yield because of it. Wouldn't it be wiser to put the funds in a diversified product that mimics a similar yield, for example SPYI. Thank you for the video.
100% agree on this. Spyi is a better choice and its nicely diversified without the same level of risk
Hey, why don’t you mention 13% yielders SACH and ACRE anymore? 😂😂
Any thoughts on a possible short squeeze on ABR?
I live in Florida and we are constantly and I mean constantly building apartments there….im 💯 on board for arbor realty. About to collect that .43 cents in a few days
Was gonna get spyi in a taxable account, is there anything that compliments it well?
What is your opinion on yeildmax etfs??
He's made several videos on them. Try watching one.
Happy to see someone mention PDI. I've owned it since early Nov 2023. No one talks about it.
You like falling stocks?
@@pilot88pro I'm up 8% in share price appreciation alone.
Why take the risk when we can get the same yield from an etf?
Which ones?
PBDC
Expenses are to high. Just buy the best performers in PBDC individually and manage them yourself
I bought 15 shares of PDI to see how that performs.
That's my next stock I want to get into
I had ABR before, traded it on and off, and currently hold PDI & GOF for their stable monthly income. Good luck to us with PDI.
👍
Can you do a breakdown of CION? It's one of my best HY dividend stocks
I am not buying ABR, there is to much risk and not enough reward when there is other stocks which maintains its share price and has a similar yield
TLTW pays monthly and whenever the Fed eventually cuts rates this equity should have good capital appreciation.
I hope it rebounds with rate cuts. I've been adding as it has fallen in price. Nice dividends, but I don't think I have room to add much more. If it dips under $25 again it's hard to no. Good luck everyone.
What do you think about the french energy company Engie SA? They have 9% dividend yield
Useful video, thanks. ABR yield is tempting, but too risky for me right now. Anything with a yield that good is risky. I made some money on it by buying it during a phony short attack and sold it when it recovered. Anything with a yield that good is risky and I have been burned before.
thanks for the breakdown. what type of account do you hold these in?
Any thoughts on UNIT? I've been researching that one and it seems like a really good deal, but the price has been beaten down hard over the past two years.
Negative equity. I would not.
They are buying out Frontier which spun them off a few years ago. Dividend after merger will likely be 0%. Stay away is my advice.
See news. Just merged, no longer a REIT, no longer a dividend.
This channel is a blue chip of yield chasing on UA-cam 📈
