The whole numbers matching thing for people to brag about or rub their body parts up against is beyond me. i drive cars not numbers. I have to laugh when a numbers matching car is restored by replacing 98% of all the metal except the numbers and one claims it as ORIGINAL matching numbers when that is all that is original on the car. No matter i like that this team does what it does because someone will drive a car that was considered dead after the last owner refused to sell claiming one day they will fix or restore it but instead let it rust to hell.
Fir every restored car, there are 10 that suffer that fate "I will restore it", and they never do
@@cromBumny Agree to that. I own 6 cars that were considered too far gone or scrap. I even plucked one from a yard of parts for sale to abandoned ones behind garages and now get thumbs up when i drive by. Not one is matching numbers but the people that see my toys somehow do not care either because they bring past memories or dreams of wanting it. Some of my currant know one day i will restore it cars are 67 400 4 speed convertible firebird. 68 440 charger, 70 454 Camaro auto, 69 Hemi Charger auto, 68 390 auto Fairlane, 73 340 Cuda auto solid body shell.
