I seem to struggle with a pick for some reason, my whole wrist seems too tight maybe gripping pick too tightly so doesn’t seem to rotate and pick drags under the strings on upstroke. I will keep practicing.
I'm a complete beginner and I've never had a pick fly out of my hands, is it really that common because half the video is about picks flying out of the hand
I somehow developed a weird habit of strumming as if I’m holding a pick by pinching my index and thumb together. Do you think I need to correct this as a bad technique?
Super cool, thanks!! One thing I struggle a bit with is my pick sonetimes spinning/rotating a bit after strumming a while, and I have to stop and reorient it in my hand. Anyone have tips to help with that?

using a finger and a pick produce totally different sounds so maybe it depends on the song you are playing that determines which you use?
true. Yes the song and style have a lot to do with the choice you make
Excellent! Thank you.
You are welcome!

No, I don't think that's a bad habit. If it works for you, there's nothing wrong with that
Super cool, thanks!!
