Pia celebrates the Ohitaki Autumn Fire Festival in Saga, Japan | Pia's Postcards Season 2

Pia is no stranger to the Land of the Rising Sun, but this is her first postcard from one of Japan’s lesser-known treasures - the lovely Saga Prefecture. She pays homage to several Shinto shrines, visits stunning film locations popularized by the movie Between Maybes, and ends the first leg of her Saga sojourn by attending the fiery ceremonial rites of the prefecture’s Ohitaki Autumn Fire Festival.
