Our stay was from Sept 16-19, 2022
Clean and updated resort. Very friendly service. Lots of food options. Al la carte breakfasts/lunches and dinners.
We had 4 rooms total: 2 junior suite swim up, 2 roof top suite. All the rooms were beautiful, spacious, clean and well kept.
Restaurants:
Dukes is a restaurant somewhat close to the beach. It’s so nice to eat and feel nice cool breeze hit you. We went there for lunch twice and both times foods were delicious. We have waiter Gilberto, hostess Zaira and manager Jenner. They were awesome team getting food out fresh and fast. I am allergic to alcohol and they always remember to bring me a “virgin” shot drink since my group love to drink and took 3-4 shots for lunch. It was fun to be part of the shot team! 😂. Thank you for making my experience great! We went the last day for breakfast, Eligio/Pedro for breakfast was awesome.
Dommo is steakhouse. Tomahawk was delicious! Lobster was supper yummy also! Food all came hot and fresh. Waiter Carlos and his team were so on top of everything. They cleared table as we go and kept and eye on our table made sure we are well taken care of. Always ready to refill drinks/etc. We really enjoyed our experience there. They even helped take nice group photo for us!
Fruit stand and fresh delicious coconut they cut for you. We had shot photo with the group there. They were fun! 12-4pm is when you can get fresh coconuts
Bike tour was nice and shaded. It was an hour long and good exercise.
Things they can improve on:
Steaks at steakhouse was delicious but steak knives were all very dull😔
Sink in bathroom was difficult to turn on/off water. Those knobs are not easy to use.
The doors were tricky to use. Some were push to open and others were pull to open. We notice lots of people had difficulty opening the doors.
Overall, everything was nice and everyone was welcoming!

Do you feel it's worth going to all-inclusives even if you don't drink? Have you considered cruises?

I am allergic to alcohol but it’s still worth it for me. I like the fact that there’s not much thinking involve. Everyone meet up and hang out. Everyone can go flow and do whatever they want and not have to worry about how much to spend /etc. And if you can stomach it you can do multiple lunches and dinners. Cruises are also good. We’ve gone a few times also. Cruise ship you are stuck at seas and rooms are tighter. Cruises prices can add up if you don’t live near port. And seems to always have extra fees. I think both are good it their own way. I usually keep an eye out for good deals for either and alternate for different experiences.
