Thank you for this comparison video!
I've been looking for a thorough review of this new mixer but haven't found any yet. How does it stack up against the Bosch? I realize the Bosch is more powerful and as such has a higher capacity, but is there much of a difference if you're mixing 6 lbs of dough or less?

I really miss Shars kitchen wish they hadn’t closed.

The NutriMill appeared to be on a higher speed setting than the KitchenAid so I wouldn't call that a fair test. The more it spins the faster the food coloring is combined. Plus she's selling these on her website so an unbiased test...I don't think so! NutriMill is 50 years old, KitchenAid is 100 years old but she didn't tell you that. If you are going to make bread dough in a KA, use the KA spiral dough hook it's much better then the "C" hook and if you want really good bread dough the Bosch Compact beats them both IMO and it's less expensive.

You prefer the Bosch Compact to the Nutrimill? Noob question, but what exactly makes it superior? I guess I assumed that since the Nutrimill is designed so similarly to the Bosch Universal that it would be the better machine. I am looking for a reliable, economical mixer/food processor to make lower-carb (and maybe even keto) doughs for pasta and pizza crust. Thanks.

@@barflybzzzz The Bosch Compact mixer not the Bosch Universal mixer (which the Nutrimill Artist is a stripped down version of). The bosh compact has a "3D" planetary action that crosses over the center of the bowl rather than going around the center like the KA. You can see the dough being stretched and pulled every direction in the Compact rather than mostly being spun and occasionally pushed like in the KA and Universal. It's just my opinion based on my observation using my KA and Compact. I'm certainly no expert. If you are doing a lot of dough the Nutrimill would be a good economical option over the Universal. But you could make excellent dough up to 3 lbs. in a cheap second hand bread maker using the dough only cycle or a custom cycle if you don't plan on making anything other than dough. The Bosch Compact is best suited to no more than 6 lbs of dough at a time due to it's bowl size.

@@stephenm18 Thank you, sir! Like I said, I'll be making a couple of pounds of pasta dough (using a mixture of regular flour and lupin semolina or full lupin flour and vital wheat gluten) as well as the occasional keto pizza crust. Don't see myself baking much bread. So I'll definitely need something to get that gluten working... I've been told to avoid KA because it doesn't work as well with tougher doughs, so if you recommend Bosch Compact, I'll give it a shot.

This is poor advice - to those looking for honest responses, this one is lacking. KA is inferior, especially when bread making. The motors of the KA are junk. The 50 year old KAs are great, but they’re 50 years old and not readily available. If KA is your wish, make sure it’s a DC motor, which I believe is only available on the pro 8 and proline 7 and it’s going away soon. There is a mini with the DC motor as well, but it’s too small for most people. Bosch, Ankarasrum - these are the bread bosses in the 6ish qt arena.

Hi! Thanks for the video! I've been eyeing the Bosch for awhile now but the NutriMill is so much cheaper! Also, just thought you should know that you spelt NutriMill wrong and so some people might not be able to find your video :)

Do you know whether there is an available metal bowl for the Nutrimill Artiste to handle hot ingredients (like an Italian meringue)?

      Yup
There is a steel bowl now for the nutri mille artise thats available in the USA
The problem is that the bowl is around $150
Its literally almost the same price as the mixer itself

She doesn't have a clue in the kitchen, which is evidenced by her using a teaspoon of food coloring in her test.

Product comparison is on point. Demonstrator unprepared and clumsy.
