You feed it with 12 volts, and if it is pushing volts thru it, watch it and see if the volts leaving it, stop after either 3 or 5 minutes.

The brake lights will not work without the turn signals, normally.
There is a way to wire the brake lights without the turn signals, but it involves a bunch of wiring.
Alot easier to get the turn signal kit.

Just bought a kit like this, and instructions were HORRIBLE. Thank you Wayne, as always, you're spot on! However, upon further inspection, I do not have the bucket connectors or 'jumpers' in my packaging. I have a 'timer', and the circuit (with 2 spade connections). I saw one video where someone just connected the plug to the timer and one spade connector from the bucket harness... May need some clarity.

What is the big relay for? The kit I received today had me stuck exactly where you are at in the video.
Instructions were garbage. It even said to go to a different section for gas carts and there was no section for gas carts.
I have the exact same parts you are showing but I'm wondering now if that relay is for the electric carts.
My 2012 precedent gas already had a basic light kit installed.

Since you did not buy anything from me, i will have to guess at exactly what you are referring to.
The kit you say you received, are you talking about a kit of parts for fixing a charger? Or some kit that has something to do with lights?
I am confused because if you already have lights, then did you get another kit?
I only work on and sell parts for Electric Golf Carts.
There are only 2 relays that i talk about, 1 relay is for the brake lites and the other relay is to activate accessories or reducers with the key switch.
