sorry i forgot an intro to this video LOL but holy crap the end of this episode WHAT THE HECK
No worries but when is the demon slayer reaction coming ??? waiting for ur reaction😁
ngl fits the vibe of the episode
This epsiode doesnt has a intro too, what a coincidence
"No intro this time.."
This is the start of the true Dungeon Meshi. Not that it loses the qualities it has before, but it was building up all of this in the background and it finally pulled the rug from under the watcher here.
It's a wild ride from now on.
The Ed coming in with “it’s time to party!” After showing “that”
Yeah It's like "you are my special"
Imagine if they actually followed the plan to exhaust the dragon’s fire breath 😢
holy carp i never even thought about that
Having that reveal at the end and jumping right into "Party" ED is such a wild moment.
I love how this anime go from dramatic to comedy then dramatic again and … back to comedy and it’s in such a flowless manner too XD
When you get injured, you feel pain as you recover, but when the dead come back to life, they don't feel any pain.
This was explained in the official guidebook.
The dead don't feel pain because their bodies heal first and their souls return later.
It's amazing how the author has created the setting down to the smallest detail.
Laios:Holding the skull, "YOU ARE MY SPECIAL"🎵🎶🎵🎶
,,And you all right? Can you hear me?"
This episode ending on that note and then cutting to the upbeat ending song legit made me laugh for a good ten seconds.
That is so dark and traumatising, having to root around in a dragons body to try to find your little sisters remains and looking at her skull at the end
Dungeon Meshi is so peak.
Cant wait to see her reaction to episode 14! This anime is SO GOOD! Can't believe Yaboyroshi dropped it
It is a slow burn. Too slow for many, apparently. Reading it as it came out, I didn't expect it to go too long, and be more of a joke. The story kept growing and I kept being amazed at how well it was all done. A joke the fans would make during some of the more crazy parts of this would be to say, "This is still my joke fantasy cook manga, right?"
I love slow burn anime like this, Apothecary Diaries, Frieren or Mushoku Tensei.
How did Yaboyroshi drop this anime but kept watching Ninja Kamui, which they didn't enjoy after 5 episodes and gave it a 4/10?
They did? On their Patreon or something?
@@fajarnurul3904they watched two episodes and said it wasn't for them, I mean like I get it but at least they should've watched 3
@@elingenieroensistemasespec9516 yea they should've, thank goodness Alana decided to give this one a try
I don't think I've ever seen anything in anime as jarring as Laios holding his dead sister's skull in terror and a cut to the most upbeat pop song in less than 5 seconds.
Still one of my favourite episodes. Trigger really did the Red dragon fight justice
The animation in this show goes incredibly hard at times! Swamp Jawn is doing great breakdowns on each episode for the animation and direction, as well as comparing the adaptation (without spoilers) to the manga. If that stuff interests you at all, I'd thoroughly recommend it.
It's a fun little show about cooking.
It was thanks to this anime that I was still able to laugh through the year 2023, which was full of tragic news.😂😂😂
This story does dark humor so good
Nobody:
Falin: 💀
Alright! Now the true "party time" starts! >:))
It's not that you can't die in the dungeon. You can just always be brought back (since your soul lingers), so long as you can find the body, which as this sequence will show, depends on getting enough of it back as intact as possible, and using magic to restore it (with sufficient mass). I think you just got stuck on the idea that a "body" had to be alive. So you were expecting Falin to be alive, where in the show they never expected that since she was being digested by a dragon. They knew they had time since dragons digest things slowly. But clearly it's still a grisly situation even in the best case scenario.
i never not chuckle when i watch reactors see Falin's skull and the anime just goes: "KIMI NO TAME NO PARTY DAAA!"
some people say that from this ep on out the anime takes a tonal change (i personally dont agree) but regardless, i got even more invested after this and i hope you like it too!
It does have a tone change. Mostly cuz certain elements that were in the background come to the foreground. It was always there, but it’s a change for sure with things going from. And I think it’s intentional. It’s like when traveling through a dungeon and the deeper you go, the darker and more dangerous things get.
I tend to call it a tone reveal, partially because it was always there just not at the forefront, and partially because the earlier tone stays even after this
@@cartooncrazy9883 yeah that’s a better descriptor. Rather than a change, It’s more of an intensity change
And this is when people realize the show is rated TVMA for a good reason 😂
Can't wait for next eps
このエピソードは最後の髑髏からのエンディング曲の落差がトンデモナイw
love that you forgot the intro, and the first thing you say in the video is "no intro this time"
My happy show got dark 😭

Keep in mind, chil and senshi get healed and suffer terrible pain, laius get healed and gets a rash.
I think someone said this is might do to Laios has gotten more numb to pain. Do to receiving more injuries as the "tank" and Falin healing them. So this might indicate that Senshi and Chilcuck hasn't really gotten severy injured before which make sense because Senshi would probably be dead by now and Chilcuck always goes to hiding during fights.
Falin is not gay
I was satisfied with this episode. Frankly, until now, I was pretty annoyed at Laios because he was taking his sweet time to get to the dragon. He didn’t seem to have any sense of urgency in saving his sister… it was more like an excuse for him to satisfy his perverted taste buds. I was thinking the whole time wondering how long Farrin could last inside the dragon’s stomach… like, was she keeping herself alive through magic barriers, or if so, how was she eating or drinking to survive, considering these guys were constantly on the lookout for something to eat?Seeing her dissolved into just bones was realistic, and I could accept that. However, it still pisses me off that even if Laios had thought this could be her outcome, what plan did he have to revive her? He should have recruited a powerful healer that could do resurrection spells. Maybe I’m not supposed to take this too seriously, but I don’t really find this series that funny.
As was stated before at the very beginning of the series red dragon shouldn't have been active hence the digestion process would've slowed down a lot. And if I remember correctly it would've taken MUCH more time normally for Falin to be digested. Also take into account that despite the fact that technically Laios party was at disadvantage (they lost two party member both of which were considered strongest among them) they got deeper much faster than others.
Also dead bodies can be retrieved to be revived or can be revived by those who are specialized in that who venture dungeon themselves. We've seen that discussed multiple times before this episode.
I don’t get you get the series. You’re missing a lot of obvious things that were pretty much spelled out to you prior. You’re clearly not taking the show seriously already, and you’re assuming it’s meant to just be funny. Maybe that’s why you’re not getting it, and if so you should prob watch something like Konosuba.
Regarding what the plan was, it was to resurrect her by getting her remains out of the dragon before she got digested fully. She was DEAD, she wasn't going to last in the stomach. Since the dragon was supposed to be sleeping, the dragon wouldn’t have digested his sister quickly, and there would be enough remains left to ressurect. But cuz the dragon was on the move, it burned through it all quickly. Marcille knows resurrection magic, and if you bring the remains to the surface, you can resurrect it from the corpse collectors.
You’ll get an answer to why Laios “took his sweet time”. But I’ll give a hint, his response is to be logical and strategic opposed to overly emotional and to take into consideration what got their team wiped to begin with.
@@kolbayada4938 gotta love when ppl complain about a show and how maybe they’re not meant to take it seriously, when they’re literally not doing it already by ignoring plot points lol
@@kolbayada4938 Right, I remember the part about the dragon sleeping, slowing down the digestion process, but they were very vague about it, so it made me wonder if she were alive within the dragon fighting for her life, or if she had died. And later, when the orcs talked about the dragon being active, I remembered thinking that it would be bad news for Falin. And yes, because they talked about retrieving bodies, I expected an intact body … even in this episode, as Laios was cutting through the innards of the dragon, I thought we’d see a more or less an intact body. Finding just bones afterwards was more realistic but it also made me more upset at Laios for not thinking about this possibility and just being so carefree most of this time.
@@ma.2089 I try to give every show I start to watch the benefit of the doubt. I try to watch at least 3 episodes, sometimes up to 6 if the first few didn’t hit me strongly. Regarding the tone of the show: by the way the characters reacted and the ridiculous situations they got into (like going into paintings just to taste some meals), it lead me to believe they wanted to show comedy. Honestly, I didn’t find them so funny, but I did chuckle at some small jokes in recent episodes. I did like the more serious turn the series made, such as with the fight with the water spirit, and here the dragon. This all made it hard to accept the way Laios had been acting this whole time for me. I hope that they do show the reason for Laios’ actions, as you said, in coming episodes.
