To the room: I have a weird addiction/obsession to rucksacks and/or backpacks... There I've said it.... I've never known why. I am unable to walk through a camping shop and particularly Decathlon without looking at them. I am overcome with the urge to purchase another one, one that has better pockets, different zips, more bottle holders, a smaller one, ones with hip belts, ones without hip belts. Small pockets, big pockets. One for my work laptop, one for my personal laptop, one to use on my bike, one to use while walking, one to use for my camera gear, one just for 'popping to the shops'. Soooo many, toooo many.... I want to own them ALL. Damn you Daley Outdoors! I've been 'on the wagon' all Summer! 🙏
You're not the only one with this obsession. Alas, I must add. 😎 Strangely one of the very first ones I bought, a 2,5 kg monstrosity, seems to sit best on my hips.
I recently bought a Forclaz MT500 Air 50+10, purely for backpacking/wild camping. It's light, strong, stylish and very comfortable, with no fatigue or sweat even after a multiday 35 miler during a hot spell. I have to say that I'm always impressed with the build quality and design of Decathlons' rucksacks and I do own several.
Thanks Daley. That looks like an ideal replacement for our overseas travel bags. 👍 We currently use a pair of (very) ageing Regatta Advance 25l backpacks (perfect for the budget airlines carry on rules) and have been looking for something of similar size that wouldn't break the bank.
Nice wee vid, always good to c alternative gear options, especially when they look like they are great quality and functionality for the price, think i will go treat myself 😊
I don't think too many people would be concerned if you "drag things out" you're really interesting to listen to and lots of fun too. 😀 Keep doing what you're doing. 👍
Wonder if i can fit my synthetic nemo sleeping bag on the outside? Or how much space would be left over if i stuff it in the main compartment. Either way great video looks like ill be going back there tomorrow, i just bought two jackets from them.
@@daleyoutdoors same problem in the US even if the gear is a good price by the time you pay the import is over priced. On the positive side you're gear reviews are outstanding.
I was going to purchase this but ended up buying the Mil-Tek 36l Assault backpack from Amazon for £37. It’s very popular and comes highly recommended. Are you familiar with that bag?
How sweaty does it leave your back? For comparison I've got a Karrimor Covert that leaves me dripping wet, despite it sporting a system to increase airflow, in contrast to a much older Vaude of mine which only causes sweat on the shoulders and hips.

OMG I thought I was the only one out there! Its so nice to know that I am not alone! I could spend hours looking at backpacks!

Looks good I've been using the Quechua FH900 as a day bag now for a couple of years , Light weight and very comfortable.

@@GrizzlyGaz you can fit 0.1 in the water bladder space 👍

Those hip belt pockets could be nifty for storing trash you need to take with you home/to the nearest bin.
Backpack is the first promo for inktober 😂 hi Ben, hope you're all well. Woof Ruby 💗
Ayup stranger, hope you’re well 👍
Have to say, I rather like the look of that. Looks like some thought has gone into the design. Hmm…might get one!
You should 🤪
I don't think I've ever bought Decathlon before...this may be the bag to change my mind 👍
I’ve got loads of their gear. I find it all good. And it’s backed by a decent warranty and returns policy which helps too 👍
@@daleyoutdoors 👍 Wasn't it Daley Thompson that won gold in Decathlons?
I can see you with a moustache and tight shorts 👀🙊🌟
@@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Would love to see that. Viewership would go through the roof!
Outstanding looking pack wish we could go gear for other countries. In the US it's either cheap Chinese or over priced American stuff. Cheers
In the UK we have to pay extra to get the overpriced American stuff 😆

Great video. They have great products. New follower here. Crow✌️

Not really sure how to answer that 😆 depends how sweaty you are, what you’re doing wearing it, weather conditions….
I have the Forclaz 70l bag.. its amazing. Is this bag suitable for somebody less than 6'7"? Coz like, I'm a foot less 😂
It’s perfect for anyone between 3’4’’ and 8’11’’ 👌
..and this is why you've the best channel on UA-cam Ben! 😅😅
Interesting bag. I don't know if you've noticed the strange practice of the store? There is no longer an option to browse reviews by rating
Nope. There was only 20 to look through when I filmed this 😆
is the hip belt too soft for heavy load?
I wouldn’t say so, no.

Yep
don't depend on decathlon quality for hiking gear
Why not?
Because you won't look like a professional 😂 nout wrong with decathlon gear at all.
