- Advantix kills fleas for 4 weeks and Paralysis ticks for 2. If using this product for tick control it is important that you apply it every 2 weeks instead of once a month. Advantix also kills mosquitoes, lice and sandflies without these biting insects your dog is happier and alot more comfortable.

Had big dogs my whole life and never really knew you have to apply in two places! Living and Learning.
Lol that dog is so freaking cute! I had to watch the video twice cause I didn’t hear what was said
Great video
thank you for the knowledge
Happy to help! :)
I guess I just have to take yall's word for it
Thanks for the video, what a cute pooch, is he a blue heeler? I recognize him from a law and order SVU episode with dog "that has racoon like tail" lol
Yes he is a Blue Heeler. :)
Will coconut oil interfere with k9 Advantix 2
What is the time limit to keep dogs and cats away post application? Advantix is the only thing to work against ticks for us,but recently we adopted a kitty who is always trying to cuddle up with my pooch :(
Did you empty the little bottle or did you use only some of the liquid
You need to use the whole contents of the pippette
Does it matter if you leave a long streak from shoulders to tail?
Hi, Thank you for the video. I have a question, my puppy is 9 weeks Golden Lab, I thought that was more liquid that actually is and i was able to put in only 2 spots and when i was going to place it by the tail i realize that was no more. should i buy another one or it will be fine until next month.
Thanks
Hi Emanuel, as long as your dog didnt rub the advantix off as it was absorbing. Your dog will be fine with what you have done :)
@@thevetshed6369 Thank you so much!!!!
I have a couple of questions, please: If applying at the back end close to tail -is there a risk that the dog can get to it and make him/her sick? Also, I thought that after application one shouldn't handle the dog for a while, but that doesn't seem to be a problem for you. Am I misinformed? Thank you! Oh, and YES, great video!
Hello, Advantix is not appealing to dogs so is not likely that they are going to lick at it. Small dogs it can be applied just in the one place in the back of the neck but for larger dogs it is a larger dose so needs to be spread out down the back. If you are not sure how your dog will react then apply it then grab your lead and take him for a walk. That will distract him until the product has had a chance to do its job on the coat. This product has been around for a long time and we are very used to being around it. If the product gets on your hands then wash it off but there is no need to avoid your dog after applying - just avoid touching those areas.
Thank you very much. @@cam-thevetshed1431
I put Advantix on my dog four days ago and I’m still seeing live fleas is this normal or did the product not work? I also kept her dry and washed all bedding and she hasn’t been outside due to my concern of reinfestation
Fleas will still be able to get on your dog, however they will start to be killed by the product pretty quickly. You will notice the fleas are not as lively as usual and will be dying
MsTwithers1 ok so Just to clarify I can take my dog outside now? And I don’t need to take her to the vet for flea treatment? Thank you so much for the fast reply my flea bites are itching me :(
My dog has some fleas around his face if I put the liquid on his back will the fleas on his face go away?
Yes - it will treat the whole body
I believe the medicine gets absorbs by the body so it’ll treat everywhere
According to K9 Advantix 2 DIRECTIONS. IT SAYS A single application of K9 Advantix® II remains effective for four weeks. However, if the dog has a severe infestation, retreatment within a month may be necessary. Do not retreat more than once every seven days. After flea control is attained, return to a monthly treatment schedule
