$10 Homemade PVC Bow For Bowfishing!!! (It Works!)

Check out my process for making a 40LB PVC bow that I plan on using for bowfishing! Its a cheap, simple, and effective way to make a bow if you are interested in archery, bowfishing, or killing the neighbors cat (joke)! All you need is a pvc pipe, flat board, heat gun, and you are ready to go!!! My ultimate goal for this bow is to use it for bowfishing, a new and unique challenge to test my skills and aptitude!

52 inches of pvc, should be a much higher draw weight than 40 pounds. 60 inches will normally give you around 40 pounds.

I was thinking the same thing all I shoot is trad gear and I've never seen someone have that much trouble pulling 40lbs

I think that's because he didn't taper flatten the limbs. He completely flattened them.

what kind of string did you use? how long was the string?

It’s around 70lb braided line. I believe it was about 50’

Just heat guns. One works. Just pick one up from harbor freight

@@connorj.shular7176 bow really works but only thing is that when you go to shoot the arrow just kind of goes it's own way and can flop on the water so I cut out a piece of another scrap piece of PVC pipe to make a guide for the arrow
