Super! Das "Cover" von "Metropolis" ist perfekt gelungen. Raphael ist zum Fürchten. Der Sound von Darkwell die zweite ist spitzenmäßig und im Vergleich zu früher voller, fließender und schöner! Ein tolles Comeback, von der ganzen Band, und besonders von Alex! Die Vocals sind allererste Sahne.

nice metropolis homage
Best movie ever madein best nation ever of Germany. And best song ever made in decades. Darkwell deserves to be at the pinnacle of every musical songs of our century . The 1 reason masses do not know n love their art is due to the western civilizations sheer decline and erosion. Hail to Napalm records and European female fronted bands. Now and 4 ever.
I love how goofy this video is. Nice to see a goth metal band that doesn't take things too seriously.

They seem to be having fun with it to me - pretty much all the Austrian metal bands related to this one I know of seem to take their work seriously while having fun with it in much the same way - see Angizia, Korova (AT), Korovakill, Chryst, and Mars on Earth for a couple examples (I take it members of these bands know each other at least by reputation and have collaborated on each other's music projects before.)
Sweden's Therion have a somewhat similar aesthetic as well, giving a sort of an occult steampunk approach to their recent videos for symphonic metal cover of ABBA's disco classic "Summernight City" and an album of covers of '60s French art-rock songs - with Therion coming from a punk/thrash and then death metal background a couple years ago before adding in exotic song-writing techniques and a group of full-time opera singers, it sounds like the goofiest combination of elements possible, but somehow it works, and the band seem to have a lot of fun doing it.
I guess you have to be in it for a combination of just the fun of doing it, and "for the art": this stuff is expensive to do (Darkwell made three professional quality music videos for this album - it had to have cost a relatively obscure band and their record label a lot of money to produce!), and there can't be a lot of money in it, so bands like Darkwell and Therion are surely doing this as much as a labor of love as they are to make a basic living!

Love the song n video, steampunk theme, like that killer german movie from 30s that queen based radio gaga video upon. Ive heard few metal songs of this caliber. Noone in my nation knows this band bc none of em are worth spit. This is better than any song on usa charts for a decade.

muito fraquinho não gostei escutei o novo cd uns 5 vezes não gostei melhor os antigos decepção total.........
Acho que o que estragou foi o teclado, porque a guitarra e a bateria estão muito boas, mas esse tom eletrônico que deram nas músicas ficou bem ruim. Só não fiquei muito decepcionado porque eu já estava cansado de escutar o Suspiria, pelo menos eles voltaram a tocar.
Tanta banda que gosto veio com lançamentos ruins que até que esse do Darkwell está satisfazendo...
a moda acabou... o disco não é tão ruim em vista de outras bandas do gênero, a canção golem é foda... eles tem que fazer igual ao Paradise Lost pois o mesmo não tem um bom empresário para colocar eles na cena.
