Favourite movie of the year is John Wick 4 !!! A fun movie with arguably some of the best action scenes, a perfect arc and a perfect end ! Doesn’t get the love it deserves
Omg lets gooo. The goat supes is back. This is so awsome. The first supes episode is probably the best episode ever and i have watched it so many times. This is gonna be amazing
The amount of pressure riding on superman legacy is legit insane. It is quite literally the ENTRANCE into this new cinematic universe and it would be soul crushing to see it do poorly. However with James gunn I highly doubt that.
YES! These 3 are better than the Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor Trio! I have a really hot take and I wanna hear your thoughts- Logan shouldn’t have died at the end of Logan. I really enjoyed Logan, but the ending felt very weird. The entire movie, Charles was telling Logan that he spent his whole life wanting to die and he never got to live. Laura was able to teach Logan how to live, and right when Logan realized he had something to live for, he died and it didn’t feel like the correct conclusion. I think a better ending would’ve been for Logan to start a new school for the genetically made mutants at the end, learning his final lesson from Charles that he has to live.
Try to tell me im wrong abt this, i think that the paw kent scene sucks in one way but also is very good in another, i get that he shouldve died of a heart attack and i dont like the tornado thing nearly as much as a heart attack but i do like the original scene bc clark says that his dad belived that the world wasnt ready to see superman or alien life so by sacrificing himself he is preserving the identity of superman and keeping him safe which i feel is very cool
Captain Marvel gets punched out by the power stone in Endgame and in Infinity War thor has the power stone directly to his head and lasted 10 seconds and still didnt die
For the first decision honestly, the answer relies on when you were born. For example, I grew up in a time where marvel movies were its peak, so Infinity wars and Endgame were the biggest events in cinema history for me.
I strongly agree with Andrew infinity war and endgame had bigger expectations to live up to a hype compare to Superman hence more pressure. Andrew’s point where ur comparing dc which has been failure after failure should automatically be a no brainer win in the debate. Mcu had 23 films on the line for this exact moment and dc hasn’t even started !
Superman legacy has had the most pressure to deliver since the last two Avengers. Now I think Superman Legacy has the most pressure to deliver a good 1. box office movie and 2. get the hardcore and casual fans back on DC and get well received by the critics. I think if this movie flops the whole universe is dead, it's over like that. While Marvel, if infinity war or Endgame flop I don't think the universe is over. I do agree with Andrew's point that there's more hype going into infinity war and endgame I just think there is more pressure on superman to do good.
Right NOW Spider-Man is the biggest comic book character in the world, especially since the 2010's If DC don't start producing bangers the gap is only going to get bigger
hear me out Zack Snyder does an injustice movie. Everyone would be happy and the old casts and be their characters one last time. Superman legacy is one of my most hype movies coming in recent years.
Definitely disagree with Spiderverse being in the greatest trilogies of all time. I can’t personally put animated films in the same category as live action.
So Superman definitely has more riding on it, I agree with that, but Andrew's point about Superman not being very well-loved among our generation.... Kinda right. I know literally one person that's a Superman lover and pretty much everyone else thinks the character is overrated, so I disagree that "more people will care about this than The Batman". Honestly I could make the argument that Batman is the most well-liked and well-known superhero character of any franchise, with the exception of Spider-Man. Just think about how even non-superhero fans watched the Dark Knight trilogy, and loved it!
The escape pod and supes is literally the best collab!

I’ve listened to the last supes episode probably 50 times now, hyped to see him back. LOVE THIS POD‼️

The amount of pressure riding on superman legacy is legit insane. It is quite literally the ENTRANCE into this new cinematic universe and it would be soul crushing to see it do poorly. However with James gunn I highly doubt that.

Saying Hawkeye beats Rocket is CRAZY
Try to tell me im wrong abt this, i think that the paw kent scene sucks in one way but also is very good in another, i get that he shouldve died of a heart attack and i dont like the tornado thing nearly as much as a heart attack but i do like the original scene bc clark says that his dad belived that the world wasnt ready to see superman or alien life so by sacrificing himself he is preserving the identity of superman and keeping him safe which i feel is very cool
Hat guys Oppenheimer take just hurts me so much, SO SO MUCH, it’s truly beautiful especially if a fan of history and overall cinema.

Think he has a condition
Not having Vision on the MCU bracket is CRAZY work guys !
I love these guys come on sups is the the best guest
Oppenheimer is the first movie I saw twice in the cinema. Would have been The Batman but stuff happened
supes fr buff as hell
Captain Marvel gets punched out by the power stone in Endgame and in Infinity War thor has the power stone directly to his head and lasted 10 seconds and still didnt die
Need supes to bring back his pod, love that man ❤️💙
Top 3 Movies this year: Oppenheimer, Across the Spiderverse and Barbie
Also incredible opening to this episode 😂
SUPES IS BACK LETS GOOOOOO
The opening 😂
Far from home at 5 is insane
elite trio
They should bring up which movie is under more pressure either Superman or Fantastic 4
superman for sure
Barley into this but Andrew is spitting facts. Don’t compare the superman movies pressure to the pressure endgame or infinity war had.
Monday's saviours
Ayeee love that Alex loves Tenet, movie is super underrated but I don’t think it’s better than Oppenheimer
MAN OF STEEL WATCH PARTY! Man of Steel is so good idgaf
is it me or supes is jacked AF !? his arms are massive 😂😂
For the first decision honestly, the answer relies on when you were born. For example, I grew up in a time where marvel movies were its peak, so Infinity wars and Endgame were the biggest events in cinema history for me.

man i would love to be on this podcast

I agree wit Alex and Supes on this Superman legacy take
37:24 why does Supes have Popeyes arms
We need a episode with Supes & Straw Hat Goofy together💯!!!
Right NOW
Spider-Man is the biggest comic book character in the world, especially since the 2010's
If DC don't start producing bangers the gap is only going to get bigger
When will you guys have 3cfilms on the pod? Y’all would enjoy him
Supes knows what's up. Man of steel is superior!
We need escape podcast to collab with Supes AND Cuban crusher at the same time
Gentlemen let's remember insomnia and memento with Nolan films before you ever consider interstellar!
You guys forgot to bring up whether Wanda has the darkhold or not
hear me out Zack Snyder does an injustice movie. Everyone would be happy and the old casts and be their characters one last time. Superman legacy is one of my most hype movies coming in recent years.
YOU REALLY NEED TO REVIEW GRAN TURISMO
you guys keep forgetting one thing Superman Legacy is the beginning like Iron-man 1 was for the MCU and infinity and Endgame were the end of an era.
Oooh, this is gonna be juicy
Even though man of steel isn’t the best DC movie ever Hans Zimmer absolutely kills the soundtrack
Great episdoe
Can the 3 of you find a host, & do a jeopardy episode based on all this cool movie and tv talks
I love this podcast
LETS GOOOOO IM HYPE🔥🔥
Supes back again!!
I wonder if that was a bit or if supes just broke in to their house and shot them😂😂😂
I agree with Supes. Man of steel is good 🥂
New episode🎉
45:00 good stuff
Wait bro no shot hat guy said civil war is a better movie than Oppenheimer
Ain’t nothing wrong with that
Supes arms look gigantic
When was this filmed
Oppenheimer is indeed a lot better on a rewatch, with the knowledge you have from the first watch
