I know you have good days and bad days like everyone, but it’s hard to watch the bad days. You are a beautiful witness of how you depend on the Lord during the troubles. I’m glad you have a go to series that helps you relax.
Nat, the key that broke is the "571" key. At least that is what it looked like. ANY RV key, the 571 key will open your locks. It is universal with RVs.
Very true^^^... otherwise, buy a $15 set of lock picks. I used to sell RV's, locks are super easy to pick in a pinch!Way to keep your cool and staying prayed up!👍
Excellent choice of breed, Nat. A lot of single women think that traveling with a small toy dog breed is the way to go. I feel this is a really big mistake. Not only do German shepherds serve as a great “f around and find out” visual deterrent, but they’re fiercely loyal and will fight to protect their family to the end as well. I travel with one myself for those very reasons. Stay safe and tell your deutsche schäferhunde I said hello.
Wow! Glad you’re ok! That looked super scary! Hope the lodge reset has helped. I love Pagosa Springs too! You should soak that back in the hot springs.
I know I keep thanking you for your awesome videos and must be getting a bit old by now but I want to truly compliment you for you being so real. You are strong both physically, mentally and very resilient. Your "can do" attitude is something that others can learn from. If they were more of YOU out there, undoubtedly this world would be a much better place. Thank you.
Awe thank you! I feel like this last week has been by far a hold my beer moment to this video. I don't even know how to film all the crazy I've been through in the last week. It's definitely impacted the positive attitude I usually have. I've been trying to offer myself grace for having a few meltdowns behind the scenes. I know I can do all things through christ who gives me strength, but I'm exhausted. This comment helps me keep perspective. Thank you so very much!
I just wanted to hug you after watching your trials and tribulations, Nat! 😢❤ Here’s to better days and less calamity as you wander freely with your sweet pups! 🤗🫂❤
One Question: When something goes wrong, take care of it right away. Broken key, call a locksmith. Hookup issues, buy an array of adaptors. Have a leak, find it,and either fix it or find someone who can. Letting it go leads to frustration. Love ❤️ you, Nat. Keep up the adventure.
That was hard to watch and glad you were not seriously hurt. I appricate you keeping it real and showing what the not so good and stressful days are like. You handled that all so well, no way would I have been like that. Enjoy the cozy lodge and recharge.
Nat they make a bar tht is called a load lock yo could use that to keep the wall up until you can lock them together. Check it out at any truck stop. Walmart might sell them.
I watch pride and prejudice. The bbc mini series and the Kira knightly one. Love the story. Best of luck to you. I will begin my nomad life in a few months as I full time live out of my truck. God bless you
Just stumbled across your channel yesterday. I've watched a half dozen or so of your videos and I'll just say, you are a trooper! I've watched the excitement of your new camper purchase, to the total distruction of it. You are a great example of getting knocked down, but not being destroyed!
You let your faith shine brightly through these tough days. Jesus was with you even when the walls came down, it could have been so much worse. Satan tried but he lost the battle of bringing you down. Admiration girl, so love your videos.
Nat, Persistence is key to overcoming adverse situations. You stayed persistent despite being trapped in you camper and completed your set up. Way to stay strong physically and mentally. Maybe get yourself a bottle of good whiskey to kill the pain. Love your videos.
Hi Nat, Thanks for the video. My comfort movie is Battle LA and Battleship. ;-) You can get another key at the camper store they most all use the same key for there storage doors.
Right there with you with the LOTR trilogy…but…must be the extended editions! Keep letting your light shine for Jesus you are an encouragement! Blessings!
Hi Nat, You've been doing pretty good handling that old a-frame! I have had two a-frames in the past 10 years. When I saw those walls fall on you, I was certain that you were injured. I'm so glad that you didn't have to go to the hospital. I noticed that your a-frame doesn't have any bungee cords attached to the back roof. They must have been removed before you bought it. They are supposed to keep the roof up in conjunction with the four corner springs. It also looks like the corner springs have lost their strength. Replacing those springs are a major repair and probably pretty expensive. But for the leaking sky light window, there are some fixes on the A-Frame forums and they are not very expensive. You will probably find some sealant at an auto parts store. I hope that you will have easier days soon.🥰 Pat
Thank you! It was a nerve rattler for sure. I bought it used, and I always felt like it needed roof support. I feel so much better after this message (physically and emotionally). Thank you so much!
No, I seen you on the work less enjoy life more channel. I enjoyed that episode with you walking through the lava tunnel cave and glad I found both of your UA-cam channels and will watch and support both of you. I’m gonna watch as many of your videos in the next week, love and enjoy the show. Say prayers for you and your fur babies.
Thank you for this comment. I try to be real about what happens, and sharing was a risk. However, it sounds like I've helped a lot of people by sharing more so than the not so kind comments 😊 it means a lot to me that you'd say that.
The creepy old skool Hobbit animated movie with those creepy music?!!!! I remember in 4th grade, my teacher had the bright idea of showing us kids that movie.............. traumatized for life!! Girl, that film took me on a trip and half and I've never been the same since! *shivers*
That’s a really rough week. I just had one myself. You handle it way better than I do. That’s for sure. Colorado is one of the most beautiful states out there for sure. Definitely a place that you could call home.
OMG - thank you for posting this. We are looking to buy a trailer next year. I’m going to be 64 this year, and I’m retired. I’ve always looked at Aliners, I love them! I’ve wanted one for years. But, I recently had shoulder surgery, anchored bicep tendon was part of it. I don’t know that I’ll ever be able to lift a sidewall now. I will do my PT to gain better usage/rotation of my arm - this video has made me realize I need to rethink my dream. I want the least amount of trouble setting up, now more than ever. I realize it’s gonna have to be simple! I’m sure during normal weather it would be very easy, but the winds you were dealing with could seriously re-injure my shoulder and bicep. Thank you.
I haven't made it public knowledge yet, but I will say my camper was completely destroyed in the wind the other day. I'm still filming that video and figuring out next steps, but I've come to the conclusion, this design is horrible. It takes a lot of pushing up and pulling awkwardly to get the walls up, so it probably wouldn't be very easy on your shoulder. I hope you get to feeling back to normal and can find that perfect setup!
Bless your heart, looks like you had a very rough week. Your poor pups standing outside your camper as you were inside pinned down, scary! Thankfully you were able to walk away from that. You stayed positive through it all and I love that! Hope your body heals quickly.
Ha > That is the very reason I have 2 keys to everything. And outside of all the bad stuff the rest of the day was good. And Last : You have your health and the Lord and you don't have to go to work. Wow so Blessed. :)
We own a 2005 Chalet, Aspen and struggled for many times to raise the roof. Now we each use a 6 ft. pole to push up from each side which helps a lot. We're 81 and 86 and must coordinate with a mighty heave to secure the roof. Your a strong lady because I can barely raise the roof by myself, eh! Happy trails! ( B&J married for 55 years ) .
You handled the mishaps like a champ!! With dignity and fortitude, a testament to your faith ❤ I hope your sore back is feeling better. ...and your pups belly as well.
Well, that’s all in the rear view mirror now. Better days are coming. You mentioned Wolf Creek, is that where the movies were filmed with the mentioned title? Thanks for sharing.😊
I’m glad it wasn’t scorching hot when you were having your troubles. It’s so hot here in the south. I would have had a tantrum. 😂 Brand New Cherry Flavor is my go to.
Just FYI if you took that broken key into town a reputable lock smith could've made you a new key for approx 6.00 or 7.00 God Luck keep up the awesome videos Randy
Good to know! I couldn't find any locksmiths in the area that were open so I'll keep that in mind going forward. Thank you!!! I'm glad it's an easy fix.
Wow, what a week!!! I'm just glad you're ok! I think it's good that you kept the trailer accident footage in the video. You may save others the danger that you encountered. I was thinking about what I could possibly do in that situation, and all I came up with was to have my personal locator beacon on my person, when setting up camp, so I could activate the SOS button (if I couldn't get unstuck). I wouldn't have thought of this, had I not seen your video. I hope your next week goes much better❤️🍀🙏😊🌠
I am glad that you had the courage to show the mishap of your travel trailer, I believe that it can provide the necessary information regarding the Prevention for others, and keep them from experiencing similar mishaps, mistakes, being unaware of the dangers of the Winds, which cause this. I am Glad you Survived it is a Blessing. You may want to make a short video of the mishap to help others avoid the same problems. You may want to send the clip to the manufacturer for educational purposes for their Engineers to possibly re-engineer the design for future model of this trailer. They maybe able to Engineer fixes or other Safety modifications, or methods to Prevent these types of Mishaps, and the dangers of Winds, during the setup processes. God's Blessings to you, continue to Stay Safe, Alert and Aware.
I would not have handled that as well as you did! I would have cried or broke things out of frustration. I recently got a vantrue dash cam! Only have used it once for a vlog but it was pretty good so far!
I Sorry your key broke the dealer maybe to provide a replacement new key, or change all your locks, also there sone occasions where a hardware store that make key the old fashioned way, maybe able to make a new key from the 2 pieces of the key, it's rare, but it has been successful on some occasions, or a very reputable locksmith, do your research and see what is the most appropriate way to repair your locks. God's Blessings to you, Stay Alert, Aware, and Safe.
Hello, this is my first time seeing your videos and you probably know by now already but those keys are all the same you could ask another RV owner to borrow his and it would fit your boxes. I enjoy your videos and will subscribe ❤
I've had too many weeks like that since I've been full timing. Most happened in New Mexico also. Going to have to check out Wolf Creek in CO. Right now I'm camped out near Flagstaff to escape the heat.
Wow...that was painful to watch you get hit by the camper set up. My personal opinion.......upgrade to a lightweight safer camper with adequate space when finances allow. That A frame camper has and is giving you alot of problems. I'd hate to see that thing with a heavy wet snow load on it.....way too dangerous! Good job handling the problems as they came along......shows alot of strength and patience. Keep in mind since you are first time towing. The tires are smaller on your trailer and turn more revolutions per mile. It is very important to make sure the bearings are greased properly. I make it a practice to check the center hub with a temp gun every single time I stop to make sure I don't have a higher than normal operating temperature and all 4 hubs (on mine) are similar. Having a bearing go out (especially on a single axle) is a pain in the butt if you don't have spare parts and depending where you are. Good job making it thru the tough stuff...God Bless...Stay Safe
I appreciate the encouragement. I'd like to say things got better after this video, but I'm at a crossroads now. I'm looking at different options and seeing what I can afford that's safer. Thanks for the tips! My dad told me to always check the heat on the tires and if it's getting hot, stop, grease, and sit tight for a bit. Thankfully, they've been cool but he has shared horror stories about tires flinging off his boat trailer and so on. 🫣 I definitely need a storage bin full of spare parts. 🖤🖤🖤
I feel your pain.I just went through what your going through or went through. Same thing.Key broke off in my trailer door said oh this is gonna be fun so I had to drill the door then realized all my little hatches are the same key and they're all locked. Fun stuff had to drill 6 locks. Saying goodness for Amazon. It's only cost me forty three dollars to replace the door lock and the cylinder locks. Go to movie. Jeremiah Johnson. It's a great movie about perseverance and the will to survive.
Setting up the tent trailer looked strenuous & then tedious, and then dangerous. Not the trailer for me! Accidents sure happen fast. So glad you are alright. 💕🧚🏻
Some times you just have to laugh 😂. They seem to come in 3's, so you know. But you can do all things thru Christ who strengthens you! ❤ Satan is attacking all us believers! Sending prayers and hugs to Father 🙏 for you 😘. Stay strong 💪. You are doing really great ❤. Movie is Benny and Joon. For comfort or What's eating Gilbert Grape 🍇
Haha they sure do come in 3s! At some point, it's just comical because I can't make up this stuff. My life is full of moments like these so I try to submit it to the Lord and trust in his purpose. I haven't watched those movies in so long! I might need to add them to an upcoming movienight!
you could find a local hardware - they may be able to grind you a new key - clamping the pieces in their key grinder. or locksmith - if no rv dealer around. and yes, as rustyneal states - they do make universal keys - and also master keys - I used to work in the RV business. catch your breath, make some calls - shouldn't have to replace locks- just find a new key, and have a spare made too! - oh and comfort shows/movies -- star trek .. or anything space related... or oddly enough military movies -
Okay…… glad your doing ok! Love watching your videos and think your cool. My opinion???? There are many light weight travel trailers ? Dump yours!! I have a 2021 f250 crew cab long bed 4+4 fx4. I tow 2021 micro mini 1708 fb. Total overkill? But anyhoo I think you need to get something your not constantly putting together. Your very smart and intelligent and they are everywhere! Start looking
I have a strong suspicion I will be in the market for a new to me trailer soon.... this week has been worse than this video. I'm going to look into those! Thank you so much!
@@NatMoran I have 07 Tacoma 4+4 TRD daily driver? It can Tow 5500? Bought the micro 1708 fb 3700 dry. I didn’t take in consideration age and mileage on Tacoma. I felt her struggling pulling trailer home empty. That’s when I realized?? Yep !! I fkuked up. So I went out a bought the f 250… but the point is you can find something that your cruiser can pull a bit newer… thanks for replying! God bless be safe and give your dogs a kiss from me
I used to work in Corp America as a fraud department manager, but now I'm in the seasonal work game. My most recent gig is a camp host where I manage a campground.

That is true

Thank you for this comment! I wish I knew that before today's video was done. (I break into my camper haha). I will remember this!

I love my little protectors. 🖤
Nat...when you next get near an rv parts place, show them your key, it has a # stamped on it and they can sell you a copy.
What a week! Sometimes you just gotta laugh, praise the Lord and keep on keepin' on. Blessings!!
Wow! Glad you’re ok! That looked super scary! Hope the lodge reset has helped. I love Pagosa Springs too! You should soak that back in the hot springs.
YESSSSS! Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit!!!!!!! Watch it over and over and over! I think locksmiths can make keys from existing locks...

I learned the hard way..... spare keys in magnetic holder on rv and in truck.....
Good luck you will overcome!!!!
I should have made copies when I purchased the trailer. I'll be sure to do that next time!

You can get a 115v 15amp to 30amp adapter at Walmart or most stores that sell RV supplied. Should be less than $20 and handy to have.
When it rains it pours~!
I love your rig ! Might you give thought to adding a 2” receiver on the front ?

When crazy stuff like that happens to me, I just park it for a while. Glad you ended up feeling okay.

I've had too many weeks like that since I've been full timing. Most happened in New Mexico also. Going to have to check out Wolf Creek in CO. Right now I'm camped out near Flagstaff to escape the heat.
Flag is so cool! Stay cool out there!
I definitely need a storage bin full of spare parts.
My go to show is “ The Breakfast Club or Up the Creek” I am old school, I am watching 1984 shows! Before you were born!
Always make 6 keys for everything
And put them in 6 different spots
Including your dads house
Hide a set in your engine
Under your trailer
U get it
Setting up the tent trailer looked strenuous & then tedious, and then dangerous. Not the trailer for me!
Accidents sure happen fast. So glad you are alright. 💕🧚🏻
I'm with you. I don't think it's for me either 🤣🤣🤣
you should have bought the rockwood a frame with the indoor bathroom. they are really nice.
So sorry about your misfortune. I'll start praying for you. 💓💘🙏✌️ Your big pups are cute.
There are two plugs you should have in case you find the site has .. the other plugup.

You can get a replacement key at a RV dealership. So sorry you got beat up. 😞
That 4 runner rocks man
Thank you! I've worked hard to build it out from stock.
you could find a local hardware - they may be able to grind you a new key - clamping the pieces in their key grinder. or locksmith - if no rv dealer around. and yes, as rustyneal states - they do make universal keys - and also master keys - I used to work in the RV business. catch your breath, make some calls - shouldn't have to replace locks- just find a new key, and have a spare made too! - oh and comfort shows/movies -- star trek .. or anything space related... or oddly enough military movies -
Haha I wish I knew that back when this happened. Today's video will show my determination to get in. That would have been easier. Live and learn. 🤗
We always traveled with our GSD in the RV, we know all about a german shepherds sensitive stomach 😨
They can go eat random 💩 but good quality dog food messes them up. 🤪🫣 they're worth it though. 🖤🖤🖤
Alot of them keys are the same on all trailers
Good to know!
First....I'm glad you're okay 😩 Second.......my goto movies are also the Hobbit/Lord of The Rings series.
Yes!!! I love hearing there's others out there that love it too!
God bless be safe and give your dogs a kiss from me
Yep, I know this song is the VeggieTales movie Jonah and the song about him getting eaten by a fish!
Haha yes!!! I love that soundtrack.
Greetings, 90% of the trailers have the same key. So ask another RVer, and they should have the key.
Amen! Praise Jesus! ❤
what do u do for work? ur life seems super chill:)
I used to work in Corp America as a fraud department manager, but now I'm in the seasonal work game. My most recent gig is a camp host where I manage a campground.
Count it all joy! Trials n tribulations will come, but joy comes in the morning. Jesus❤
