Hmm, enlighten me please. It sounds like a lot of marketing jargons but I fail to see any technical specifics. 1. why is a dynamic code faster to scan? A qr code is a qr code. The time it takes to scan depends on the length of the code and clarity of the image and lighting etc, all of which have nothing to do with the code itself other than the length. What am I missing? 2. Is this "dynamic QR code" a technical term? As far as I can tell, a QR code is simply a string of characters (see ISO/IEC 23941:2022). If it's a URL, how the http server responds to the URL is totally up to the server. It can issue a HTTP 3XX to redirect or simply generate "dynamic" content on the fly based on the client request, which consists of the URL and whatever HTTP header the browser decides to send. In other words, the dynamic nature is on the server, not inherent in the QR code. Or, are you talking about something completely different? Thanks.

      Hi!
A dynamic QR code functions as a versatile gateway whose destination URL can be updated post-creation, avoiding the need for a new code for every change. While it's true that the speed of scanning a QR Code primarily depends on factors like image quality, lighting, and the length of the code, dynamic QR codes can offer certain advantages in specific scenarios:
Reduced Scan Time: If the dynamic code is designed to load a pre-cached version of the target content, it can potentially reduce scan time, especially on slower devices or in areas with poor network connectivity.
Real-time Updates: Dynamic QR codes can be updated to reflect changes in real-time, ensuring that the user is always accessing the most current information.
So, while the speed difference might not be significant in all cases, Dynamic QR Codes can offer potential benefits in terms of scan time and content freshness.
Although "Dynamic QR Code" is not a term standardized by QR code regulations, it is widely recognized within the industry to denote QR codes offering editable destinations. This feature enhances their utility for applications requiring content updates without physical alterations to the QR Code.

Im pretty new with it, but when a new QR code its created and gets printed only if a new QR code is create its when hoy select the information that hoy may want for a client or customer to see? What mobile information can a QR code scanner see if the QR code its the original code?

Hey Robert! Beaconstac dynamic QR Codes are editable. You can change the information in your QR Code as often as possible without changing the original QR Code.
When the QR Code is scanned, the information last updated in the QR Code is displayed.
