I am in the same boat. I love to collect, and getting cards cheaper and flipping for comps helps me get stuff for my PC. I built a tool to find potential deals on eBay I am about to launch, too!
That's pretty cool Joel! There are so many people out there who buy in lots and then sell what they don't need to recoup the cost. Most times you end up getting those cards for free at the end of the day! It's a great way to grow your collection!
All I can say is me too to all 3 reasons bro! Super fun, love the transaction experience, love getting low end cards into real PC collecter's hands at a reasonable price, and would love to make it a business some day. I have sustained long enough that I am starting to see my eBay Store finally gain some consistent footing and it is great! I have doubled my starting investment in a fairly short time...including making some PC purchases of my own. One of my sons has even joined me in low end box hunting so it's created another way for us to bond. Thanks for the content as always bro!🤙🏻
Thank you as always! That's great that your son joins in the box hunts. I started to get my son into too. The last 2 card shows we went to, he started going through boxes with me finding cards he likes. It's been really fun to have him there with me as I go looking for cards while he does the same.
Good stuff, looking to do something similar once my 5 kids are out of the house, so I will be referencing your videos in 10 years 😄. Your ebay store is well done, you free shipping is a big plus, just grabbed 19 cards.
That's awesome. These videos will still be here when that time comes. I'm in the same boat, I plan on doing this as a side hustle for some time before even thinking about going full time. And thank you for your purchase! I just shipped out the cards today. Enjoy!
I’m a collector too and flip low end cards. I buy retail and then try to flip them. I set myself a goal. Sell low ends cards and use profits to buy PC.
Quick question I have been using ebay standard envelope I add a small strip of foam wrap to protect the card. It says under 3oz the post office refuse to ship because of thickness of envelope not the weight. Have you ever had issue.
Hi, I haven't really ran into that issue as I usually use either top loaders or card savers to ship out my cards in. The thickness can be an issue which is why I usually try to avoid adding anything extra for added protection. Most times a top loader or card saver wrapped in a folded paper usually works for me.
I am currently uploading 20 cards a day. I started with 3 cards, then slowly increased to 5, 7, 10, 12, 15, 17 and now 20. I've been keeping consistent with 20 cards a day and don't plan on moving up anytime soon.
True, but most low end sports cards that I sell have a very small chance of going lower than what they are going for now and most times I'm able to acquire those cards for $1 or less. But you will definitely win some and lose some.
I think it depends on how you look at it... it's not as easy as it used to be in terms of making large gains flipping like it was the past 2 years. It requires more work. Personally, I don't really focus on those large dollar returns because I mainly deal with cards that sell between $1 to $10. I've found some success in this but the only caveat is that it requires much more work and most people don't see the value in putting hours of work for cards that only net a small profit. I've been doing this for almost a year now and I've been doing ok. Sure it's not the hundreds of dollars you used to make flipping graded cards, but I've made some decent money that I can use to reinvest in my ebay store or use to buy some nice PC cards and this is me just doing it part time. Most of the cards I purchase are from dollar and value boxes and using my knowledge and understanding the collector mindset has helped me find cards that I can sell at profit even though it only gets me $1 in profit. The idea is to sell in volume. But then again that takes up time, which may not be worth it to most. But I do love what I do, so I guess you can say it's a labor of love. The opportunity to flip is still there, but people may just need to work a little harder to make it happen.
You deserve more subs. Your content, is always on point. Good vibes; positive energy.
Thanks for the kind words, Andrew! Glad you are enjoying the content I put out!

Hey Joel, if your looking for any testers for your software I'd love to give it a go.

Awesome as always...not always about high end, it's about having fun!
It doesn't have to be about high end all the time. There are many ways to enjoy the hobby! Like you said, it's about having fun as well!
I totally agree with you, I am the same. Enjoy it.
Thanks! Glad you found value in the video. Sometimes you got to get creative to generate some extra funds in order to enjoy your hobbies!
Always appreciate your content!
Thanks so much Christopher! Thank you for your support and it's great that you are enjoying the videos.
You should do a video on how you take your pictures and how the lighting is set up?
Great suggestion! I will put that on my queue for upcoming videos! Thanks for the feedback!

Not a bad way to build your collection! Keep the cards you want and sell the ones you don't and buy more of what you like!
Awesome points Josh. 💯👍😇
Thank you so much! Appreciate you watching the video!

Hit em and quit em. Flipper’s paradise.
Gotta turn over that inventory!

@@JoshUnboxed824 Thank you for you time sir. I really do like your content. You are very informative. Take it easy.
You might as well flip them before they all flop.

Card flipping is dead at this point tho. Maybe in a few years it will go back up for now cards are staying on shelves..
