Sorry for the late reply. Lost my UA-cam account details. Hope everything went well for you. Turkey insurance would be purchased on the Bulgaria/Turkey border.
Wasalaam we only used ferry to cross from France to England on the way back. On the way going we used train via Eurotunnel. Everywhere else was on car. We did not go through Italy. 😊
