🟣 Debate It! - Should fireworks be banned? 🎆🎇 YEAR 3 DEBATE

As we approach the time of the year where there are plenty of events where fireworks are set off, we ask - should fireworks be banned?
🟣 #YES ✔ - they cause stress to animals, people with PTSD, people with young children and pensioners. When set off in residential areas, they are sometimes at unsociable hours. Fireworks also cause a stress to the emergency services who may be called out for fires or injuries to people setting them off unsuitable environments. They should only be used by professional companies at pre-arranged events.
🟣 #NO - They form part of the culture of many people - whether they are celebrating new years or a religious event. They bring people together and are a peaceful and beautiful spectacle when used correctly. The enjoyment of many should not be ruined by the few who either do not like the noise or cannot use them safely.
🟣 Whatever your view, its important to DEBATE IT! - bring your views to the table. Can you argue for a point which you may not agree with? Draw a card to choose a side, then argue for that perspective - all the while growing your own view of the world to a new level.
